Worthy follow-up to her debut

There's always a lot of pressure when an artist releases their sophomore album, and for the most part Maggie Rogers succeeds in following up Heard It In a Past Life. While the songs might not soar quite as much, they are energetic, sincere and catchy. Definitely a worthy next step in her young career.
