Great party games with tons of mini-games. Nice graphic and easy control.

Best Buy is becoming the go-to place for all game shopping, even if you only buy half a dozen games a year, GCU is so worth it. Got this game at an awesome price and will make some little girls very happy for Christmas!

Mario star rush party is a great game. My children love the game and we're very excited to play the game when they received it. The game is challenging and it also keeps them quiet. Perfect for road trips parents. Mario has made another classic.

For my 10 year old, he loves this game and plays for hours on it. That said, he won't even look at anything involving shooting or action. He prefers these type of games instead.

Very fun game. Best part is that your friends don't have to own it in order for you guys to play it. One cartridge and you guys can have lots of fun.

Very fun, even for grown ups who play 3ds. There are lots of maps & goodies to unlock with enough modes that give you a variety of games to play.

Boys love this game because they are short duration, arcade type game play. And you still get the great Mario graphics, music, and characters. This is an older game now and should be purchased for much cheaper through @-m-a-z-o-n than the cost I paid at BB. It's definitely a good bday present (to coincide with a young child's bday party.)

This Mario Party game is unlike the past Mario Party games, which is actually quite good in my opinion. Pluses + Every character moves at once. No more having to wait for everyone to traverse the map before you go. + The level of strategizing you need to do while traversing the board is enjoyable. It's a lot less linear, in that you can choose to go after coins or items, go after partner characters, or go for the bosses. All of these affect how many stars you get at the end, which dictate the winner. It's never a clear cut choice though. You really have to try and anticipate where your rivals will go and choose accordingly. This is my favorite aspect about the game, as it requires much more planning. + The minigames are fun. + The soundtrack is pleasant enough + Its actually quite fun to play even solo, with no friends. My only gripes are that it could use more mini games and that it is not as easy to get into for newcomers. It requires multiple plays to really get the hang of it, what with the new layer of strategy. Still, I definitely would recommend getting this if you're a fan of Mario party.

The past few mario party games have fallen short of the mark. Mario Party star rush finally shakes up the series in a positive way with a new mode that makes the game proceed much quicker than previous iterations. Gone are the days of waiting for others to roll the dice and move one by one, instead everyone rolls and makes their moves at the same time. This allows everyone to get to the mini games faster instead of losing interest while waiting. Another perk is the ability to share the game with other 3ds and 2ds owners, playing the game with only one cartridge! Everyone gets the full experience as it is not a watered down demo version. Highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a fun local multiplayer experience. There is no online mode for this game however.

Quite surprised with this one. Personally I feel like this is probably the best Mario Party when it comes to single player. (other than Advance). With 5 worlds one serving the purpose of a tutorial and a total of 15 maps based on 5 different themes. Every other Mario party averages around 1-2 hours per board but due to this games different take/formula/mechanics. I feel you really have control on how fast your games end. (Ranging to 18 minutes to an hour(dependent on map)) Again you are in control. The other Mario Party's however I feel you'll have a better time with multiplayer. Considering this one has only around 20 or so mini games. That being said there's still fun to be had with friends!
