About this product

The Legendary Marshall Family - Volume 2 / Despite their relatively short time on the bluegrass circuit, the Marshall Family had a profound impact on the way bluegrass gospel was recorded and performed, highly influencing such later groups as the Isaacs and the Forbes Family. Combined with Volume 1 of this series (REB-7505), The Legendary Marshall Family albums present the very best two dozen songs that this legendary group recorded. It is a joy to hear the superb harmonies of such classics as 'Glory Land, Come Springtime, When I Wake up To Sleep No More' and 'You Never Mentioned Jesus To Me.' Album Tracks 1. When I Wake Up to Sleep No More 2. Waiting for the Master to Come 3. Old Time Gospel Medley 4. The God That Never Fails 5. Mr. Jesus 6. The Things I Used to Do 7. Gloryland 8. Come Springtime 9. You Never Mentioned Jesus to Me 10. After While 11. Pray, Brother, Pray 12. The Baptism of Jesse Taylor
