replaced the stock unit with a DVD/GPS one and needed this trim kit. Fairly easy to install but it shifts the mounting distance further out, meaning the head unit has to recess further into the dash in order for the metra bracket to made contact with the mounting holes. This is not possible because of all the wiring behind it. I had to use a dremel to cut the lips inside the trim so that I can slide the trim further (making the unit stick out more).

So, this product made the Kenwood stereo I had installed N2 my '06 Mazda MPV look Factory! Finish was smooth, evenly spaced, w/no odd gaps or noises. Very Happy!
