I had a Surface Pro and loved it, but when the battery started to go I decided to upgrade and go for the Book 2 as it was on sale. I am very happy I did. The 15-inch screen is beautiful, and while the tablet seems like it might be too big, it actually is very comfortable given how thin and light it is. I primarily use in laptop mode and keyboard feels very solid. Overall I am extremely happy with this machine and would definitely recommend.

I have been a long time believer of the Surface Book (SB) line of 2-in-1 laptops. They have been consistently great for work, play, and school needs: fast, looonnngggggg battery life, stable, screen with best in class color fidelity, and a really stellar typing experience (yeah, no unreliable "butterfly" keyboards here). This is my 1st experience with the 15" variety (all of the previous ones have been the 13.5" SB2 & SB for me and my kids) and the 15" configuration does not disappoint. If you are looking for a laptop with an excellent detachable experience for reading/browsing/drawing in a slightly larger form factor, this one hits a great price/performance point. Note: this configuration does NOT have the discrete NVIDIA graphics card (so has a lower price point in the SB2 line), but the integrated Intel HD 620 GPU has plenty of horsepower for a great browsing, authoring, and video-playback experience (if playing games or looking to do more 3D rendering workloads, then look for the Surface Book 2 versions with the discrete video card). Overall, highly recommended.

Love the feel of the laptop. Nice feel to the keyboard as well. Beautiful look, and what an awesome option to use as a tablet as well. The surface pen along with the arc mouse pairs fast and works seamlessly. I definitely recommend this product at the purchase point.

This is a very nice unit: powerful, fast, and lightweight. It's a huge hit with Microsoft fans, and even with those without that specific preference. We have bought many of these and the Surface Pro 6, and every user has been very satisfied. For me as the buyer, the purchase process has been the best aspect of these purchases: Best Buy makes is effortless to buy now. I ordered this unit online, specified that I wanted to pick it up at a nearby store, set someone else as the person who would actually pick it up, and within an hour we had the unit! It does not get easier than that! Thanks Best Buy, for figuring it out! Note: the low rating on Value below is not related to BB's price, but on the price point Microsoft puts on these units, compared to its competitors' closest matching items.

Overall I really like this computer. So far the only negative is the lack of contrast on the keyboard. The keyboard is gray and it’s fine when I use it at night because it lights up. Outside in the afternoon it’s really hard to see. The size is perfect for me and I love how it disconnects to use as a tablet.

Due to the COVID19 crisis this laptop is used for both work and my daughter's schoolwork. Incredibly lightweight and very easy to use.

My daughter wanted this for online classes in high school. It's the perfect machine for her; lightweight, compact, and powerful.

Easy to use. Graphics and picture quality is outstanding. Like the ability to use it as a tablet also and being able to use the pen and write on the screen is nice.

Microsoft did a great job with this laptop. Being able to quickly remove the screen to use as a large tablet or writing\drawing surface is great and allows for a very versatile machine that can fit almost any use case. The battery life is great as well. If you step up to the higher model you get the NVIDIA GTX 1060 for enhanced graphical power for videos, photos, and games. The keyboard feels fantastic and the touchpad has no equal outside of a MacBook. Two USB ports, SD Card slot, and a USB-C port give good options to connect to accessories. Also, don't forget the Surface Dock (expensive but very useful) to connect it to a large monitor, mouse and keyboard, and printers etc. just like you would a desktop. That makes it easy to use in the office and on the go. Having purchased many of these at work the reliability and robustness has been great. The smaller 13.5 inch model has a great case made by UAG if you feel you need to protect it. The 15 inch model has no case options I'm aware of at this time. Overall, highly recommended for a lightweight, powerful, and versatile laptop.

We have been using the 13" surface book pro for the past two years. It is great but the screen size is rally annoying when trying to compose or read emails and documents. Amazing what a little bit larger screen will provide in ease of use.

I bought this computer to work from home and college course work. It has proved fast, reliable and extremely convenient. The ability to detach and go is a perfect way to get the job done. I appreciate the Microsoft and Best Buy support with questions. TLM

I am an engineer, and I'm currently studying for the FE exam. I have been looking all over the place for a good laptop. This laptop is great because it turns into a pad. It also has a magnetic side where you can keep your pen. I love the 15" compared to the 13.5" even though the 13.5" doesn't take too much space but I need the 15" for the screen. It is easy to type and I like how it has onedrive built in to it even though I use a hard drive to store my files. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I wish they come in black though, the gray is fine for the amount of space for the laptop.

Very please with this purchase. Went from an apple to this and love it. The only down side is that we have to purchase virus software and never had to with any of our Apple products. If this has built in antivirus I would give it 5 stars.

I purchased many Dell laptops over the last 10 years, but this Microsoft Surface is excellent beating out Dell. I very happy with the laptop and the sales person in the store.

Better then IMac Air and more versatile. I5 Processor is blazing fast and and more than sufficient for everyday use and basic work use.

Same Surface fit and finish. Good quality. Was configured and working in under an hour. Lots of performance and function for the price.
