Surface duo 2
I believe the battery needs to be replaced it says connected and not charging When im not charging my phone it shows as if it was charging. The battery also has been discharging pretty fast. Other than that I love this phone I love being able to have to screens to multi task, I also love that it can synchronize to my surface pro. Quality of the camera not so good yet.

Wonderful niche device!
This is a wonderful device and GREAT for productivity. With that being said though, it is not for everyone and you have to know what you are getting yourself into. The software still has bugs but is very useable. At least over time this aspect can be improved. I use this mainly to keep track of my office work and communications with MS teams. So far it has not disappointed! Also, be aware that using the dual screen will drain your battery significantly more, with the exception of less demanding apps like an e-reader.

Hardware issue and lack of support beware
Bought this on launch and it has been everything great about the surface duo 1 but fixed the bugs with the upgrade to modern hardware, However, I having a I am having a pixel issue on the right display on the inside curve. The issue started on what appeared to be light bleed from the edge but it can now be seen as a group of dead/stuck pixels on all colors other than true black and cannot get help from either best buy or Microsoft. Best Buy told me I'm out of return policy by 10 days since even no matter what their phones have 14day return policy, and if I want to use my geeksquad protection I would be paying my deductible even though is clearly a defect since the screen not cracked nor was the device dropped in anyway. As for going through Microsoft their support site for warranty on this device just loads to page unavailable and no number so my only option is the review. So I hope you know what you are getting into on this $1500 phone

Can't go back to 1 screen after using this phone
THANK YOU MICROSOFT FOR INVENTING THIS!! I was holding off on buying the 1st gen due to the crazy amount of negative reviews. Although there were still a lot of negative reviews for this 2nd gen, I went into the store to test it out because the concept just sounded like perfection for my busy lifestyle. And... I LOVED it. It felt amazing and it actually LOOKED just as amazing. The 360 hinge is crazy and the camera quality is significantly better than my boyfriend's iPhone 13 Pro Max. On top of that... two apps at once?! Craziness. Everyone around me is always in awe of my phone and it really shows how Apple is so behind in giving people the wow factor lately. I will admit that it isn't as smooth as the iPhone. It's buggy at times and needs a restart at least once a week. I was definitely prepared for all of this and to be honest, the bugs and glitches were not as bad as I was expecting. I literally laughed at the thought that critics were complaining over such trivial things lol or maybe I'm just a more patient individual that doesn't demand things to be given to me at super speed. Sure, it's priced extremely high for a phone but you're literally getting two phones in one and it's only the 2nd gen. I'm personally a Windows/PC gal so the switch from an iPhone was a piece of cake - very intuitive. I guess if you were a male who didn't carry around a bag like every female does, this would not be an ideal phone for you. Also, the fact that I can play Xbox Game Pass on my phone is HUGE, along with the fact that a video is able to fill up one entire screen without any blacks on top/bottom due to the same dimensions AND spanning apps across both screens AND multi-tasking with two different apps at once AND copying + pasting from phone to computer AND paying with GPay on one screen + having your rewards app for a store to scan on the other screen AND I'll stop there... since there's just too much to say. The durability of this phone is also incredible. I viciously dropped my phone twice without a bumper (once on gravel and once on wood floor), and it still looks the same. No scratches on the outside glass, only some scuffs on the edges. I'm hoping that the 3rd gen will be just as smooth and fast as an iPhone but regardless, will continue to purchase the Surface Duo. Microsoft - please do not discontinue this phone over negative reviews from critics that are biased in favor of Apple!!!
