My living room game machine (PC) is just far enough from the couch to make wired controllers impossible. This one syncs easily, has no lag on the controls, great triggers and great sensitivity. It's definitely the better controller. I have 2. The great deal is to buy the one with the PC fob first and then any of these work. The wireless usb fob allows up to 4 to be run at the same time so you've got full online, MMO, or coop gaming. It's a good controller no doubt.

Essential for using your Xbox One controller on PC without wires. Works very well on all versions of Windows 7 and up. Just as easy to get activated as the original wireless adapter for the Xbox 360, now without as much bulk.

Unlike the Xbox 360 adapter with Windows 8.1, the Xbox One wireless adapter is literally plug-and-play with Windows 10! You don't have to manually assign a driver to the controller with device manager anymore! Much less headache and research. It feels great to play GTA 5 with an Xbox One controller on resolutions greater than 1080p.

The controller itself is easy to set up and it works amazingly good (wireless on win 10) and its build quality is very nice too, all nice things expected from an xbox product. But why 3 stars? Its a fault on microsoft, not Best Buys fault! I don't want to shell out $80+ on a game controller that needs a dongle to be wireless. Build Quality 10/10 Materials 10/10 Comfortability/Ergonomics 10/10 Responsiveness/Functionality 10/10 Value ( Are you paying for what you get?) 2/10 Amazing controller. Unreasonably crippling high price.

By far the best, most comfortable controller on the market. Extremely easy to setup on my Windows 10 machine, and performance is so much smoother and more responsive than the wired 360 controller I was using before...and its wireless!

XBox 360 controllers are hard to beat in terms of quality, ergonomics, and reliability. But Microsoft stepped up their game with better RB and LB buttons, smoother trigger stop feel, rumble motor for each trigger, and headphone audio support all while still being great in the ladder. The best controller for your PC as well. The standard in controllers. Period.

What can I say. You plug in the remote receiver to your computer and that's it. It just works. Zero problems so far, works flawlessly!

Microsoft Makes great controllers for their consoles, it's great that they offer them on PC, While the price was on the steep end for the controller with adapter, you should know that it's a well built controller. My only gripe is that the impulse triggers arent configurable nor do any games that I've played take advantage of them. I don't know if it's a driver thing or if it's not considered by PC Devs. That's the only thing keeping it from being a perfect review.

The best of both worlds, fantastic Xbox One functions/ergonomics and Windows 10 compatibility for real gamers. Synchs up instantly with the included USB dongle. Range is great, responsive, no drop out or loss of connection.

I was hoping to use the wireless adapter with Steam Link, but realized too late that the wireless adapter only works with Windows right now. So for now, I'm using the controller wired with my host PC, and it works great. Comfy, audio works with the headset jack, and no configuration beyond a firmware update. I'm hoping the wireless works as well as others have reported, but for now, the controller is great and I hope to use the adapter with a Steam Link in the future.

I recently upgraded from the wired version, because of a fault with it's cable. It began to stop working when the cable was move to a certain angle. When I went to exchange they did not have any on the item floor (The employee made me go look and find it). I instead opted to bit my tongue and upgrade to the version with wireless receiver. I'm no stranger to controllers, having use every important one from Atari, to SNES, to the Dreamcast controller the Xbox controller borrowed most of it's design from. The Sony Dual Shock, Valve's Steam Controller, to my Vive Motion Controllers and soon my Leap Motion hand controllers. My opinion in this review will not reflect my single incident with a bad wire. It is hard to tell the difference between the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, and even more so on PC. The most striking difference between the two is the price. A wireless Xbox 360 Controller, with a rechargeable pack, can be found for less than a tethered Xbox One controller. I have tried to find a difference in them, the One and the 360 versions, and I have not found a single thing. The 360 was a decent controller, and could take a few hits which is good for a console controller for little kids. If you are reading this review, I am going to assume you are older than the average console gamer. The Xbox One controller using the PC receiver has no lag or problems of any sort (much like the 360). It seems sturdy, certainly less delicate than the Steam Controller, but not close to the features and customization the Steam Controller gives you. To be blunt, I have used the official Xbox controller on the PC simply because most PC games have native support for them. Other 3rd party controllers can run into many issues, and be inferior in quality. I had two Razer 360 Controllers which were just torn to pieces and useless after a year of normal use. They rubber from the thumb grips would rip. I am using a Razer keyboard and Mouse but I will never use a controller from them again. So the Xbox controller is a great choice for PC gaming. With Windows 10 already having the drivers for it, setting up a controller for PC gaming has never been easier. Any age group can handle it. It seems well made and performs perfectly well. The analog sticks on this controller will NOT rip off. That leads me to my final point. I cannot give the Xbox One controller with PC receiver anything more than a 3 because I simply don't think it is a big enough improvement over the 350 to warrant the current price gap. If it was just $15 I might change my mind, because it does feel better made, and I think that is what makes it cost more; The higher quality hardware. For the average PC gamer I recommend looking into a wireless Xbox 360 controller for PC gaming. It will serve you just as well. For those of you whom the difference in price is manageable, definitely go for the Xbox One. It has a higher quality to it, and PC games will continue to support it for the foreseeable future. Even if the controllers are no different than the 360. For the small percentage who want to try something new, complicated, but rewarding. Well I say get a Steam Controller. They are cheaper and more fragile, but infinitely more customization and useful in situations the standard controllers of today which all follow the same control scheme are not. For these reasons, I rate the Xbox One Controller with Wireless PC Receiver 3/5. I have no doubt it will become the standard for PC gaming in the future, but for right now save yourself some money by getting the 360 and put it towards a nice headset or something else.

Met all of my expectations. I had to send the product back once, but BestBuy was quick to replace it at no cost to me. Range is good, and I was happy to see that it comes with a pair of Duracell batteries. I have already recommended this product to people that I work with.

Microsoft - Xbox One Controller and Wireless Adapter worked flawlessly the very first time. Just plugged in the wireless adapter and was ready to play.

So I already have an Xbox One S Controller with bluetooth support. However, I needed the adapter because I was having some issues and connecting multiple controllers just wasn't working for me. I still prefer the updated feel of the One S Controller, but the old one is still really nice. Anyways, the adapter is GREAT!!!!!! Definitely buy this if you need it.
