Midnight Run features one of my top five favorite De Niro performances and Grodin is on fire! This film looks and sounds fantastic on this Shout Factory 4k. Thanks for keeping physical media on your shelves Best Buy!

One of the best buddy road movies ever filmed. Great performance from DeNiro.

When people think of DeNiro and comedy, they usually think of films such as Meet the Fockers and such, but this was my DeNiro comedy growing up. It’s a great road trip/buddy comedy film, and this 4K upgrade courtesy of Shout Select is a great release, even besting the previous 1080p release they did (I believe that version is included on disc 2, unless they used the same remaster.)

If you haven't seen it, Midnight Run is as advertised- a funny movie starring two incredible actors. I'll keep it that brief to not spoil it. If you have seen it and are curious about the A/V quality, this is not a presentation to blow your socks off. But if you're like me and want a disc that'll give you the feeling that you're watching the movie in the theater again, it absolutely hits the mark.

I paid full price for the movie ,which was a little pricey($28.99),but I had not seen movie in years wanted to see it in the best home video format. The presentation did not disappoint. The colors were natural and film grain looked appropriate.The picture sharp and black levels were good. the DTS sound was good.

Classic road-buddy movie. If you never have seen it you're missing out. We're talking rolling on the floor laughing even after the second viewing. Also a great study of how America used to be. People smoking on planes. Carrying GUNS on planes. A must have.

I have always wanted this movie on hard disk. When it finally was available on 4K my search was over. What a great movie and what better way to watch it than in stunning 4k.

A decent movie for 1988 and looks fairly good on this 4K. We get the 4K edition and a Blu-ray edition. No digital here or slipcover. Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin stars in this 1988 classic.

this is a very good movie and looks great. I am glad i got this before it got sold. I glab the last one that was in the slot.

I absolutely love this movie and it is one of my favorite movies from the 1980s decade. I own several different DVD copies and two different Blu-ray copies, but when I saw this movie available in 4K UHD for preorder, I was tickled pink :-) I just finished watching this pre-order, after finally receiving it yesterday. It looks and sounds absolutely spectacular on 4K UHD! The shout factory blu-ray was good, but this 4K that shout factory released is even better. I would highly recommend anybody that’s a fan of this movie or a collector to pick up this version. It has become a timeless classic and truly stands the test of time, especially with the upgraded visuals of the movie :-) it’s nice to own the movie in the best possible quality, then you can watch it anytime you like, while not having to worry about the woke crazies trying to get the movie taken out of existence or words replaced due to their craziness!

Pretty amazing film. It's a classic caper with plenty of comedy and outstanding performances. I wish Best buy would get more movies like this..

Midnight Run is a great movie but does not looks the same on 4K blu ray went i so it at the movies.

Classic 80’s film starring Bobby D. and Chucky G. 4K is the best this film has ever looked on home video. Recommended.
