Considering the real MLB has recently delayed its 2020 season, MLB The Show 20 literally is the closest you’ll get to real pro baseball for a while. So it’s a good thing it’s great, as usual! That said, this is an annual franchise, and this year’s version isn’t as much of an improvement over last year’s impressive MLB The Show 19 as we’ve seen in big years in the past. But it finally adds some much-desired variety in ways to progress through the excellent Diamond Dynasty card collection mode, expanded customization for its addictive Franchise mode, and further gameplay tweaks to improve what was already one of the best, most dynamic baseball simulations we’ve seen to date. One of the best gameplay tweaks this year is that perfect contact and perfect timing on batter hits leads to hard-earned ‘Perfect-Perfect’ hits, which let batters get more involved by rewarding you with higher-quality content that will lead to more home runs, line drives, or hot-shot grounders (a higher BABIP, basically). That makes the Plate Coverage Indicator a potentially deadly weapon during at-bats, because you can use your own skill in combination with your batter’s skill to make those precision home runs. Just as in MLB The Show 19, you can customize your PCI in any way you’d like, making it truly your own for the best results.

Great game best baseball simulation out there and hat looks dope. Only complaint I have was how late I received my package. I was supposed to have early access on April 16 instead received package on the 20th, the day the game actually released therefore missing out on early access. Besides that the game looks great, plays great and tons of game modes that will keep you hooked on for hours

I'm really enjoying the game so far, tons of replay value and countless tasks to perform. You can play a quick game or try Diamond Dynasty and build a fantasy team to unlock great past players and gear. The deluxe boxed version features a steelbook with Jackie Robinson and a hat which makes it a nice upgrade from the standard version.

Every year my son counts down the days for The Show to be released. According to my 14yr old, this years Version has some cool new features and he is not disappointed. He prefers and chips in to get the Deluxe Version, he likes the Tin case and hat.

Great value, fantastic game. A definitely improvement from the previous versions. I skipped 20 and went from 19 to 21 and its a big jump in quality. Definitely having fun playing this game.

Great gameplay and an awesome experience. Loved having it a few days early. Only nag on the game is some of the player rankings. If your struggling early I’d suggest trying out the different batting modes.

I am a huge fan of the MLB The Show series and I always buy the Deluxe Edition for the hat that comes with it. This is the 5th hat they have released and I have liked all of them so far! You also get a code for the hat to use in game for your Diamond Dynasty team if you play that mode. As for the game, MLB The Show is always one of the best sports games every single year. The gameplay and attention to detail is top notch. If you are a fan of baseball you need to buy this game!

The graphics are amazing! I still use the hat to this day because it's made out of good quality!

Game looks good feels good there just isn’t enough updates or changes to the feel of the game to make it any different than the previous years game.
