Q: Will this fit an Apple Watch series 5 40mm. The box at the store did not indicate it will fit the 5 series but did say 38-40mm.

A: It fits my 40Mm series 5.

Q: What is the difference between the 38mm and the 38/40mm? Does that mean it fits both? I'm looking for one to fit A 38mm, would both options work?

A: This band fits with both Apple watch 38mm and 40mm.

A: Yes

Q: Are the loop and tab on the band plastic or metal? Is there not nickel on this product? (Allergic)

A: On Nylon band, the loop and tab are metal . They have been tested and nickel wasn't detected.

Q: Is the closure velcro or buckle? Overview says the first and specifications says the second.

A: The long part of the band fits through a loop and then back on itself to hold using velcro.

Q: Will it lose its color?

A: no

Q: I don't see a length mentioned anywhere for this band, and I have large wrists so it's a consideration I have to look for. Can someone please tell me the length?

A: I believe the 38-40 is for smaller wrists like mine. The larger 42+ size was large on me. The end of the strap came right to the bezel of the watch. So there was plenty of room for a larger wrist. I went back and got the 38-40mm one and it fits much better.

Q: Is the band washable? I would be using this when working in the garden

A: It's a sturdy nylon cloth. I would say yes to washable. For garden work, maybe consider the bands like the one that came with the watch. Very interchangeable and you won't have too wait for the nylon one to dry.
