Q: Can this Insignia mount clasp be mounted onto a tempered glass computer table?
A: The monitor mount is best suited for wood tables. I personally would recommend you get a glass monitor stand to match your desk. You might be able to make this stand work if you put a rag or cloth down before tightening the clap to give it friction and security from the clap sliding out of place.

Q: what's the tilt on the vesa mount? need as much tilt as possible
A: The manual indicates a tilt range of 5 - 15 degrees. The range of movement is excellent since the arm allows you to move the monitor up down, backwards and forward, left to right; then the tilt let's you adjust up and down. Works great .
