Has great performance but is limited to overclocking capability. Does not have a vapor cooling instead cools by the fans which some state is the reason why the higher temps then other models, i havent seen my go over 77° . So its still in acceptable range. Also i do not hear any coil whine so thats another good point to mention. Overall its a great performance of a card, if you can snag one at a discount its absolutely worth it.

I picked this card up during a price match that brought it down to MSRP, mainly for running local large language models. On paper it’s slightly faster than the 5090 Founders Edition, and my own benchmarks back that up. Using ONNX with DirectML, I saw single precision scores around 42,000, half precision around 61,000, and quantized around 31,000. For comparison, my 3090 scored about half of that with single precision in the 21,000 range and half precision around 29,000. The improvement in AI workloads is clear and consistent. The only real issue is the size. This card is enormous. It barely fit in my full tower case, and the four way power adapter made cable management difficult. The adapter is bulky enough to press against fans and block airflow. I strongly recommend using a single cable that can handle the full power draw instead. I also tested a 5090 Founders Edition and found performance only slightly lower, but it’s far smaller and much easier to install. If you can find this card on sale or with a price match, it delivers amazing results, but if case space or airflow matters, the Founders Edition offers nearly the same performance in a more practical design.

This card is the smallest 5090 card except the Founder’s edition. After carefully checking, this card is perfectly fit to the Alienware Aurora R15, love it!!

Package was stolen by fedex. Signature confirmation was on the package, but it was never signed for. Tracking shows a package on a sidewalk, no house number or signature. Contacted bestbuy 4-5 times said I was getting a refund, then told me to contact local authorities… who told me to contact bestbuy again. $2800 loss, disputing with credit card, really a shame because this is my business. Really in a bad position, don’t know how this happens with such expensive items.

Works great but having a problem with the Display Port not working on monitors

People criticize the cooler but it runs cold enough to keep below 60c under load. The pcb is reference and my board doesn’t have any coil whine. It’s definitely worth the price

Cheaper 5090 but great performance and stays cool either way. I like the 575w bios limitation for safety reasons.
