Ive had this motherboard in my personal PC for almost 1 year. It has worked flawlessly. Msi software makes setup easy and quick by helping you get the drivers you need and updating existing drivers. I have built many gaming pc's and MSI has been the most reliable boards. MSI boards also have the best looking and easiest to maneuver BIOS.

For Christmas I purchased an ASUS - TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and 32MB Corsair CMH32GX5M2B6400Z32 memory. The ASUS motherboard, even with the latest BIOS, failed to post if I tried to place the memory in dual-channel mode per the manual, (A1+B1 or A2+B2). I researched and, I found that this memory kit was not tested with said motherboard. I returned the motherboard and purchased the MSI - PRO B650-P WIFI (although it's lacking a third m.2 slot, and the onboard Realtek sound "codec" is lacking - old chip at 90-95 SnR). The Corsair CMH32GX5M2B6400Z32 memory worked out of the box in dual-channel mode at 6400MHz and AMD EXPO mode. I don't mind not having a third m.2 slot as I have 4TB of m.2 space already. As for the sound, I'm running an ASUS Xonar DX (116dB SNR) that is better than the onboard sound (Realtek ALC897 90dB, 95dB SNR) by a good margin. Yes, this motherboard has some glitches, I believe it's PCI-e 5x compatible, (The documentation states PCI-e 4x). However, at this time, there isn't much that can take advantage of a PCI-e 5x interface.

I’ve been using this motherboard in my PC for about 9 months now, never had a single problem with it, would highly recommend. My PC is on the higher end as well so it’s difficult to run some things but this does it beautifully.

Great product, highly recommended for gaming and high performance machine builds.

This motherboard meshes very well with my gpu as both products are from MSI, allowing me to more easily control settings such as fan speed and RGB. One problem is from what I saw, although this might be an issue with my case and not the motherboard, was there is not a front panel mic connector, therefore I have to get a Y splitter adapter for my headset and plug it into the rear panel where all the connections are from the motherboard.

Good Motherboard, I ended up paying the little bit extra for the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk to get power stages instead of the discrete MOSFETs on this board.

Bought it as a pc bundle great price and performance with RAM being so expensive it helps offset the cost.

I used this to build a workstation and it is a really nice board with some really good features. I would not use it for a gaming system but it is still a solid performer

I loved how fast it was to assemble while building it and I was able to get all of my parts to match for a nice colored build. I had some issues with the IO Shield install being to small but overall a really nice board

Easy to install, quality better than a fatherboard tbh

solid quality board for am5. has everything you could need for a consumer grade high end build, bios flashback and led debugging etc. super helpful features for troubleshooting. however if a b850 comes on sale it’s definitely worth the purchase for future proofing purposes
