The amount of time needed to complete the story line and the side missions makes the game worth it. The story line provided a great synopsis of the anime's plot, which helped remind players some content that may have previously been forgotten. The game does progressively become more difficult, so it does not become boring due to the fights being too easy. The amount of characters that can be played is satisfying and appreciated, but I wish all of the characters from the anime and manga could have been added to the game since this is their last game in the ult series. Overall, this game is very entertaining and gives you a great opportunity to waste around 10-12 hours if you are trying to get everything possible in the story mode and side story. Plus the multiplayer and local match gameplay is not too bad.

As a fan of the series both the show and game Ninja storm 4 really delivers on the fan content. We get to experience fight scenes that we didn't get to see in the series only imagine and we get some control over it during those awesome scenes. Lots of characters to play with, along with some awesome and hilarious outfits. The modes are great, single player story along with online and even local battles for more than 2 people. Sure you can't play 8 people at the same time but the 1 on 1 tournaments are intense when you have a small group. Lots of spoilers as well if you're not up to date on the show so buyer beware. My only concern is the future DLC, hopefully it'll add more content but also be worth the investment.

Ever since the first Ninja Storm game on the PS3, my kids have loved the series. I was a more avid gamer back then but now I hardly play. My kids play all the time, in between doing homework, and this is a fresh change from the first person shooters they always play. Graphics are amazing, action is not choppy on the PS4 and the camera isn't as confusing as it was in the first game. I admit I am not as familiar with all the new characters and new abilities but my kids tell me it follows the series pretty well and they love it.

If you have played any of the previous titles, you will be familiar with the play style of this game. I must say the roster is the biggest it's been so whoever your favorite character is, be prepared to use them. The campaign looks like the colored manga with no movement just window transitions. Sometimes the story in the game and the actual shippuden storyline are off, but enjoyable still. Feels fresh and new altogether. Game is best against another veteran player. The matches get competitive

It is a really great game. There are a lot of new features and controls. It's a little confusing at first but really a good game once you get used to it.
