National Velvet is certainly a classic and timeless family movie, more than worthy of a place in everyone's movie collection. I enjoyed it as a young viewer, and find it even more enjoyable and meaningful as an adult. It is also fun to see all of the actors in their early Hollywood careers. Great plot, great acting, great movie.

Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney, Angela Lansbury... you can't go wrong with this cast! I honestly sat in awe for the first twenty minutes - Elizabeth Taylor is only 11 in this film! Excellent story line, great family film - solid five stars!

This is our second copy of the film. First was worn out. Love this movie and Best Buy did a fantastic job getting it to us for the holidays.

This is a classic, heartwarming story that is a must-see for children of all ages. I would most definitely recommend it without any hesitation!
