Q: What is the decibel level of this exercise bike when riding it? How loud loud is it?
A: Very quiet. You can continue to talk with someone else in the room, and hear a TV or whatever other electronic device if you wish.
Q: What is the real flywheel weight?
A: The flywheel weight is 16.9 lbs. I contacted Nautilus directly. They put me on hold long enough to pull up the engineering schematic where the ACTUAL flywheel weight was indicated. I also asked if this is the same flywheel that they use for the U616. The answer was "yes". If you go to Nautica's website they even have a Q/A section on the "reviews" link of the model page. Someone asks for clarification and even receives the wrong answer from a Nautilus rep when they asked if it as 10lb or 30lb. The answer said that both are correct when NEITHER are. Previously this model received comments of a 10lb flywheel being inadequate, so we all assumed they moved up to a 30lb flywheel based on marketing and available data from sellers. The flywheel is 16.9lbs on both the U616 and U618. The replacement cost for the flywheel is about $60 -shipping if it is out of warranty.
A: You don't need to purchase the app to get that info
Q: How much is bike when assembled by tech @ Best Buy?
A: According to the item description of the bike, they list an additional $299 for setup.
Q: What is the size of the box this bike is in?
A: The box is 41 x 23 x 13 inches. I just measured it and rounded up to the nearest inch.
Q: Are the handle bars adjustable
A: Slightly - only tilt slightly forward or backwards
A: Comes in one box but in pieces. You get everything you need. Instructions are clear and whole process can take an hour or two. Since it weighs about 80 lbs you’ll probably want to assemble in place rather than move it, but it does have little wheels. You get a tool for all the screws but suggest you use your own small screwdriver for the 4 screws on the console - these are the tiniest screws.
