I noticed an immediate difference in internet speed on all devices. This router also has a wider radius than previous generations, as devices throughout the house work significantly better. 3 streams used to slow down our internet speed but now 8+ different streams at once doesn't slow any stream down at all!

No internet drops, no issues, great coverage in 2 story colonial house. Recommend. We stream all TV, online multiplayer games, have connected home appliances you make it…

Better than the routers your internet providers lend to you. Built in VPN through the service app, wider range coverage, and better speeds.

Routers do pass away. Mine did. I went back to NETGEAR for a Nighthawk and couldn't be happier. This model has the power to get around the house. Setting these routers up in the past has been challenging, to say the least. IP address, excessive passwords and steps. This router has a SIMPLE-to-use APP, and setting up passwords and extenders was a breeze. It's all in the APP. I am sticking with NETGEAR and with this one, I am ready for FIBER internet. For whatever it's worth, Best Buy made getting it pretty easy. Stream on!

Just upgraded to the BE12000 Netgear WiFi 7 router. This router’s screaming fast and easily covers my two story house. No dropped signal. Setup was super easy. I had my network up and running in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this future proof gem of a router.

Upgrade from the old RAX70 router to the new BE12000 Wifi7 router. Also upgraded from coax cable to fiber optic. The Netgear Armour security is way better than any that we tried in the past. The range is great, I am able to receive a strong wifi signal in my shop which is a metal building over a 150 feet away from the house. I highly recommend this router to anyone upgrading to fiber optic.

I live in an apartment building and our old router was having trouble competing with all the other routers in our building, which led to slower internet. This router is great and I no longer have that issue. It has not let me down once and has good technology to balance the ideal frequency between each device. It overpowers the 2.4 GHz of the other routers around me. The latency has been reduced significantly.

Only took two hour from the time of death of my old router, driving 30 miles round trip, and getting my smart house and devices up and running.

Just bought this router and we love it!! Was super easy to install and fast Wi-Fi!

Good looking paper weight. Firmware updates cause constant issues.. Lan running at 87 mpbs plugged into the router. Take the router out of the equation. Get 750 all day. Customer support starts with dumb advice even if you tell them everything you've tried. Best buy wont let me return the it for in-store credit.

I’ve been using the Nighthawk BE12000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 router for several weeks now, and overall it’s been one of the most capable home networking devices I’ve owned. Right away, setup was straightforward. The Nighthawk app walked me through the process quickly, and I had the router up and running in under 15 minutes. The interface is intuitive, especially for less technical users, but still offers enough advanced settings when I wanted to tweak performance. In daily use, the Wi-Fi 7 speeds are noticeably faster and more stable than my previous Wi-Fi 6 setup. Streaming 4K video, video conferencing, and online gaming all run smoothly even when multiple devices are connected. The tri-band configuration does a good job of managing traffic, and I’m not seeing the typical congestion drops you get on busy networks. Coverage is solid across my house — I get strong signals even in rooms that used to struggle with Wi-Fi. I also appreciate the improved latency performance; gaming feels more responsive, and smart home devices stay reliably connected. That said, it’s not perfect. The physical size and design are bulkier than I expected, so finding a place to set it up discreetly took some thought. Additionally, while the router delivers excellent speeds, the advanced features might be overkill if all you need is basic internet access. What I liked: Easy setup with the Nighthawk app Fast, consistent performance with Wi-Fi 7 Strong coverage throughout the house Handles multiple devices without slowdown What I didn’t like: Larger physical footprint Advanced features may be unnecessary for casual users Overall: If you’re looking to future-proof your home network and want strong performance for streaming, gaming, and multiple connected devices, the Nighthawk BE12000 is a great choice. It strikes a nice balance between power and usability.

I love it!! My internet is beyond fast even with all the devices I have hooked up Ethernet and WiFi. No lag or buffering ever. And with the subscription to the parent controls I’m able to monitor and block my kids access to not only websites but devices as well or give them a certain amount of time. Overall I have no complaints.

Definitely an upgrade to my dated NETGEAR Nighthawk. Fast speeds with great coverage. Would recommend to anyone. Easy to setup. Excellent coverage in my 2,800 square foot house. The guest WiFi option is great especially when other devices are on the main WiFi.

Absolutely incredible router! The NETGEAR Nighthawk RS500 with WiFi 7 delivers blazing fast speeds and practically zero latency — perfect for gaming. I’ve noticed no lag at all, even with multiple devices streaming 4K movies at the same time. The connection is rock solid with no buffering or hiccups. Setup with the app takes just minutes and you’re ready to go. It’s been running flawlessly since day one. Highly recommend for anyone who wants top-tier performance.

Title: Too early but so far so good Description: I replaced an old and overwhelmed router with this one. If I could have kept the other one I would have, but it just couldn't keep up with demand. I have a moderate sized home and quite frankly am on the border of needing to go mesh, but the signal strength and speed this new router have been very good. It definitely at some points is almost 3X the speed of my last router. Again I believe the demand on the old router just choked it out so speed significantly dropped. I am not a big fan of app...I would prefer an option for direct connect and more hands on...I also not a fan of almost being forced into buying a subscription. The whole we know best what you need mentality is off putting. Anyway, will be playing more with it as time allows, but initial feeling is this router will do the job.

Description: I was skeptical at first but was blown away by how this router changed my wifi in the house. My house is 3100 square feet with two levels and one router covers the entire home. I've had many devices in the corner of my home that cannot connect for months. But with this, everything works, it just works. The netgear app is great and really helps with managing all the devices at home.

Setting up the router was quick and straightforward, thanks to the user-friendly app. It’s fast enough to fully utilize my home fiber internet connection, consistently delivering gigabit speeds to my wireless devices. One nice feature is the 6GHz band, which is especially useful in my neighborhood with lots of other Wi-Fi networks. The additional band helps avoid interference from the neighboring networks, ensuring a faster connection on devices that support it. Additionally this access point supports port aggregation, which helped speed up the connection to my network attached storage drive.

I had the Netgear Nighthawk BE12000 up and running in about 10 minutes. The setup process was straightforward, and getting everything connected was quick and hassle-free. My home is approximately 1,500 square feet, and overall Wi-Fi performance has been very good throughout the house. Speeds were strong and connections remained stable in the main living areas. The only area where I experienced issues was the attached garage, which has standard sheetrock walls rather than steel construction. The router was located one floor directly above the garage, yet I still experienced occasional signal drops with a TV and EV charger connected in that space. While the devices generally stayed connected, the connection wasn’t as reliable as it was in the rest of the home. If you need consistent coverage in a garage or other hard-to-reach areas, you may need to experiment with router placement or consider adding a mesh node or Wi-Fi extender for the best results. Like * Fast and easy setup (about 10 minutes) * Strong Wi-Fi performance throughout most of a 1,500 sq. ft. home * Stable connections in primary living areas Dislike * Occasional signal drops in the garage despite the router being directly above it * May require additional coverage for garages or other challenging areas Overall The Nighthawk BE12000 is easy to install and delivers excellent performance throughout most of the home. However, in my 1,500 sq. ft. house, it struggled to provide a consistently strong connection to the garage, even though the garage was standard sheetrock construction and located directly below the router

Our old Netgear Nighthawk router support came to an end, so we upgraded to the suggested replacement which was the Nighthawk BE12000. The difference in coverage was immediately noticeable. Our Ring camera outside of our garage works 24/7 now instead of spotty coverage at best. My husband's internet connection for Teams meetings no longer has a constant lag throughout the meeting. I highly recommend this router.
