At first I was skeptical about this product before I purchased. I spent years researching which band I should buy. Because I originally had Ex6200v AC1200 dual band wifi range extender that I purchased in 2012 and there were no issues at all. However it was complicated using auto configuration setting that was connected to my optimum router due to an unexpected loss of communication signal because I had a dead zone which is in living room but somehow I managed and found a solution in different way and it was successful. It had been strong for years until when I found out this product for a software update was discontinued. I definitely need to upgrade a new dual band mesh system because of a new WiFi 7 that provides an ultra-fast wireless standard for internet speed. Besides that I have a ps5 consoles and I also have two LG Smart TV with 55 inch and 48 inch. I decided to go with NetGear Orbi Series dual-band mesh to see if the upgrade is truly worth it. I gave it a try. I contacted customer agent and asked them about this product and I was told that I need to contact my optimum cable to enable "Bridge mode." Additionally I bought a new etherent cable (cat6) I am satisfied with this product and it was an easy setup. Everything was smooth and faster internet than my expectation.
