Honestly pretty impressed with this product. Effortless connection and the Orbi app is very intuitive for administrating the SSIDs, password, frequencies, and parental controls. The parental controls are very impressive and easy to setup and review. The profile assignment to handle the different devices and IP addresses works pretty well. I love that I can remote access the account and make changes even when I'm not using the local WI-FI connection. Remote IT access through the App is a gamechanger for people who travel for work but still need to support the family while away.

I bought this Orbi 770 Series as my Nighthawk was at the end of support, this was a 2014 model. So I did a lot of research and determined this was the best choice for me. Set up wasn’t complicated and setting up the satellites was too easy, literally power them and that’s it. My speed is unbelievable! I decided to record my speeds before I took the older router (2014) and Download: 193 Mbs, and Upload: 198 Mbps. The Orbi Download: 673.70 Mbps, and Upload: 469.87! I knew throughput was going to be “better” but this blazing speed is unbelievable. I’m glad I received a courtesy email from NETGEAR letting me know my Nighthawk was at the end of it’s lifecycle, otherwise I would be using a device that might be compromised and not know it and be prone to hacking. Best investment I’ve made so far in tech, and you know sometimes it’s a gamble, but not this time! I’ve been a fan of NETGEAR and this company has NOT let me down.

I had another Orbi router at my place of work so I already had the app. This was sooo simple to add to my app which set everything up in no time and now I have one app that manages both my home and work routers. Im on a 1gb plan and am consistently getting around 700mbps on my phone via wifi.

Strength and speed from wifi 6 to wifi 7 way better. Just switch from cable internet to fiber. Yes, all of my smart electronics are alive. Also you get the speed you paying. Would buy the 900 series but way off my budget. But highly recommend this Router plus 2 satellites.

We purchased and installed this mesh system to upgrade and replace our first gen Google mesh system. We have a 5000sq ft house and had to purchase 2 additional satellite units as well. Install was a breeze. The app is also nice and will show signal strength to devices so you can change around your satellite points. Only con - the size of the satellite units are quite large. We were use to the smaller Google points that are easy to tuck away out of sight - not the Orbi units. Overall a great buy!

Great router and easy set up. Router has excellent signals and made of high quality materials. Distribution throughout a large house with perfect reach to all rooms.

Great product and easy way to expand your coverage

This WiFi system works amazing. With beam forming you loose very little actual download speed and ping remains very low. Sub 15 ms and that going through several walls!

whole house is covered and secured loved the product

Setting up the mesh system was a awful, but once it was up and running, it was great

Great addition to my Wi-Fi set-up. Easy to add on to existing equipment.

The WiFi range and signal strength is excellent throughout my 3500 sqft home. Overall the system was very easy to setup and use, but I did have to perform troubleshooting for my Amazon Blink devices. Fortunately, Google Gemini AI gave me instructions on what settings to change on the Orbi to get me right back on track. I have not experienced any connectivity issues and I find that the overall performance is great. I look forward to seeing how the long term performance compares to my four previous Netgear Nighthawk systems.

App doesn’t connect to the device. Unstable connection with router. Definitely will never recommend a NetGear product to anyone.

Drops connection with randomly with router and needs resyncing. Coverage is not as good as the 5-year old google mesh it replaced.

I got this to replace an older Linksys Wi-Fi 5 mesh system. I wired one of the satellites for a backchannel. I now get 960 Mbps down and 44 Mbps up on an 800 Mbps down & 24 Mbps up service. The installation was way longer than needed to be as it wouldn't complete until I uploaded the router's MAC address to Xfinity. Total coverage now, and then some, in my large house. Very happy. Some fearures require subscription to Netgear Armor software.

We recently replaced our older, and much outdated, mesh Wi-Fi system with the Orbi 770. The speed difference has been outstanding, and reliability is much greater, even on the wired devices. We chose NetGear as their equipment always allows for far greater customization than other brands. We have a fairly complex home network, and other "plug-and-play" systems lock out the critical features required for proper operation. Installation had a couple of challenges, but nothing that was too difficult if you read the screens properly. Once it is operational, the ability to access the advanced settings via a web browser is fantastic. It was worth the extra money to get the 770 series, and we are very happy with our purchase.

I previously owned an older AC2200 WiFi 6 mesh router and it was at EOS. Noticed several issues with it and decided it was time to upgrade. I made an investment in a NETGEAR 770 WiFi 7 mesh router with 1 satellite. After the install I performed several speed tests to evaluate the new router. The upload/download speeds were noticeably higher. I had full house WiFi coverage. I was able to configure the new router to have the same network name and password as the old system thus making the upgrade seamless. I even was able to get my subscription of Armor Active transferred to my new system. I can’t say enough good things regarding my experience

I purchased Orbi 770 to replace my Google Wifi. With taller bodies hence longer antenna, I find better wifi signals with 3 Orbi units (2 satellites) instead of previously 6 Google wifi units. Setup is a bit dumb with unnecessarily forced timeouts, which is especially annoying if you are just running through the setup a second time with some steps already done. The app misses some critical functionalities, e.g. setting up a fixed IP for my network printer, so I have to do that from their web interface instead. There is a few minutes delay between the time a new device connects to the time it shows up in the app. Firewall and parental control features are good but they cost extra in monthly rip-off fee, even when those services are actually performed locally in the router and not in the cloud. I miss a feature from Google wifi where we could see per-device usage instead of just the aggregate number, which is useful to figure out if a device is disproportionately rogue in network usage, and for telling apart between identical devices when we do not have easy access to their MAC id. Overall speaking, I still value the improved wifi signals a lot.

Faster speeds than expected. We stream tv, video gaming, all our lights are connected and working from home. All of this with zero lag!

The signal from the Orbi 770 Series is really strong throughout my whole house, even in spots where my old router couldn’t reach. Setup was super easy, just a few simple steps following the Orbi App instructions. Performance and coverage are outstanding, although the system isn’t cheap, but definitely worth it for the speed and reliability.
