Upgraded my old mesh system to new Orbi 770 WiFi 7 system. It as worth it. Better stability across my network with improved speeds across all my devices. Reception thought my home inside and out has improved significantly. I was already a Orbi user so the upgrade was very simple and loved the little graphical touches they made interface regarding my connected devices. Overall very pleased packaging, setup, services, and exceptional performance in my home.

At first,I was very hesitant about spending this much money on a router mesh system. But,I see why it cost as much as it does!First,my internet speeds increased by around 400 mb.And the setup was super easy.I can now control my wifi using the Orbi app while I'm away from home!I can tell how many devices are connected and how much internet each are using! The Orbit app and the internet speed increase is worth every penny.

It’s been good so far. We use it in our basement because the signal is not the best. It’s helped with the speed. My boyfriend is a gamer and has seen a slight improvement

Since i set up this netgear orbi. I get full speed in my whole house. The netgear armor provides excellent protection for my devices.

For years I’ve suffered with poor WiFi coverage in parts of my home. I bought pods, but they didn’t help. I asked my provider to improve the service, with no avail. I then saw how Net Gear’s Nighthawk system improved WiFi coverage at my daughters home so I went shopping for a product at my house from Netgear and saw that the Orbi 770 WiFi 7 mesh system would be best for my home. I purchased and installed it and it has made a huge difference. My appliances furthest away from the modem now work like they should. Thank you Net Gear!!!

Setup as a WiFi only. The ISP provided router handles DHCP. We had Fios 1gb up 1gb down. WiFi devices come in around 750mbps up and down. Setup was straight forward once I read the manual!

Went from 100 mbps bottle necked to 700 mbps throughout my house. Worth it if you can find a deal.

The router would not connect to my ISP, but the service rep walked me through a few steps and the router connected quickly. It has worked consistently since installation.
I was unable to connect the product to the internet. I have used Netgear products for many years both professionally and for personal home connectivity. I reached out to Netgeartechnical support for help with connectivity after an hour of trouble shooting internet connectivity myself. This included reaching out to my ISP the veryify that there were no issues with their fiber or their modem. My previous mesh system was an Orbi RBR50v2. This system worked flawlessly for 5 years. I began to have intermittent wifi drops and decided to replace with the Orbi 770 series. During setup the router failed to connect to the internet. I tried 2 soft reboots of the system using the app. This didn't resolve the issue. I then tried a hard reset which allowed me to connect to the satellite and to connect to the router through the default IP. Still no connection to the internet. I contacted support and here is where things became much more difficult. We went through the process of resetting the device and checking firmware for 3 hours. At this point technical support wanted to end the call and brainstorm for solutions with a higher level of technical support. They were supposed to call me back within 15 minutes. This didn't happen. I was glad because the process had worn me out. The next morning I called and requested the unit be replaced. Technical support refused and demanded additional troubleshooting insisting that the unit could be fixed. I then requested that I recieve a full refund for the product. Again they completely refused and said no refund would be issued. They insisted I continue additional technical support. Three hours the previous day wasn't enough for them. I boxed the device up and returned it to Bestbuy. They accepted the device and gave me a full refund even though Netgear refused a refund and didn't allow for returning to the store. Thank you Bestbuy for keeping me from suing Netgear! Negative stars for Netgear technical support!!

Hi Valued Customer,
Thank you for your review, we appreciate your valuable feedback and we want you to know that your experience is important to us. We're sorry to hear that experienced trouble with connecting your RBE773 to the internet and then encountered issues with Support, as what you have described is not the intended experience. When encountering an issue getting connected and setup, we recommend a few troubleshooting steps including unplugging your RBE773 Router from the modem with the ethernet cord and performing a power cycle on both devices, allowing 5-10 minutes to pass. When both your modem and Orbi router have come back online, reconnect your Modem to your Orbi Router with an ethernet cord to the 2.5 Gig Internet Port.
If you decide to repurchase the RBE773 or any other NETGEAR Product and need assistance, please reach out to us with your contact information along to netgearteam@netgear.com, and we will be happy to help you.
Regards,
NETGEAR Team

Constantly drops connection and then stopped working in less than 30 days. Returning and purchasing a different brand.

This is my second orbi mesh router. The first was the RBR 50 which has lasted many years but is no longer supported. The 770 which when received was actually the RBE771. Not sure why the model change. However, my experience with this new router is similar to my experience with the RBR 50. Set up was easy and coverage thru the entire house is excellent. My biggest complaint was the price. This model is not the most current but the price and performance make it worth while. A downside is the cost of the additional armor protection. However, if purchased during the first thirty days of router ownership, the annual price was discounted to $54. Second year pricing will probably be an issue. Overall, Netgear makes excellent hardware but it’s firmware over the years has been an issue. Nonetheless, I would recommend this product.
