I finally got around to upgrading from our old Nighthawk X10. I looked at the current models and decided on the tri-band due to the speed, versatility, and coverage. It pairs well with the Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem I got a couple of years ago. I am getting much faster speeds over both WiFi and wired connections. I am guessing it is because I have a lot more wireless devices in the house (cameras, door bells, streaming devices, pet food feeders/sprinklers, etc.). Initial setup was quite easy with the app. WiFi and most of the network came back up within 10 minutes. (It helps if you change the network name and password to the old one so you don’t have to change every single wireless device). Hooking up the NAS drives in aggregate mode took a little more research tho.

This is an amazing router. Had an Adtran router from my ISP it was awful. The first adtran router they provided burned out in 3 months. They don’t know why but they did replace it. Worked fine for about 5 months then throughput dropped to 50mbps felt like I was stuck back in 2005. Had enough of the adtran router. Went out to bestbuy was skeptical to buy due to some reviews, price was good, stated throughput was good. Checked out a Asus, Msi, etc. again reviews had me skeptical paying the price for a gaming router and went with this beast for a test. I am not disappointed! This router trucks! Even with multiple devices connected downloads and uploads are 1200-1500mbps. Adtran router claimed to be doing 1500mbps in its own Speedtest but anything outside their Speedtest was garbage. Speedtest.net showed 5-50mbps. Gaming was atrocious. Videos and movies were grainy and would freeze. 100% price to performance worth it. Great coverage area, great latency and speed, more than impressed with the BE9300!

Setting up this router was a breeze. I had it going in about 15 minutes flat after physical installation and updates. The speeds, via hardline, are exceptional. We have 1 gb speeds and this router delivered on that flawlessly. The wifi is where it falls a bit short. Speeds via wifi are actually great the range is where the life is sucked out of it. Go beyond one room and you start seeing bars disappear. Besdies this, unless you have a huge home its a great choice.

I replaced an older nighthawk router because I thought it was the cause of my network outage. It ended up being a Spectrum node issue that they didnt discover until after two service visits. This was actually a blessing in disguise as my network speed doubled with the new router. Easy setup using nighthawk app that I already had. I really like that you can tell it to automatically choose which network band to use so only one router name shows up in your device wifi setup instead of three (2.4g, 5.0g, 6.0g). It is seamless so your phone or other device just switches to the band with the best signal depending on distance from router. I didn’t even know about 6.0g until I got this router. It works really well if you are close enough to the router.

Recently upgraded my router and this was the one chosen at my local BestBuy. It was a Huge upgrade and the performance increase was well worth the investment. The current WiFi on my network are 10x better than before. Even wired into the router I’m finally getting over 1.3gbs download. I’m impressed and worth the investment. Upgraded my modem as well.

This router works amazing! It was exactly what I needed and in the long run I am saving money by not having to rent a router from my internet company!

[Employee of bestbuy] This is an extremely powerful and consistent wifi router. It boots quick if a restart is needed compared to past Netgear nighthawk routers iv owned. It pairs well with my att fiber modem. Remember to call your internet service provider to allow their modem for a passthrough that way the Nighthawk works. I am extremely happy with this product. With multiple story homes its always best to use a mesh system. This router may be able to fit the needs of a large or single story home perfectly fine.

The product is good, and so far it has never given me any problems, and it's easy to install. It's very fast. It also has protection that takes care of all the devices. I really like it for its security, and I recommend it.

Paired with the Netgear CM3000 modem and it's vey good. Great range in our 2200 sq ft home.

Geek Squad installed it and no comparison to Fidium one. Very fast loading wish I had it a lot sooner! ❤️

Excellent router, works perfectly for 1gig internet and is able to handle all of my devices perfectly. Armor service was a little annoying but goes away in a month.

The QR code in the box was very easy to set up my network and the speed and coverage are above what I thought.

Omg this is such a nice router awesome best one i ever had wow its fast sleek does not take up a lot of space and look at my xbox speeds holy!!

I am very pleased with my new Netgear Nighthawk BE9300/RE300 router. I previously owned a Netgear modem/router combination, so I already had confidence in the brand and knew I wanted to stick with it. One feature that pleasantly surprised me was the router's ability to automatically select the best Wi-Fi band based on each device's needs. The tri-band support (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz) works perfectly for my household and all of our connected devices. I work from home and have a smart home, so I rely on a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection for numerous devices throughout the day. My daughter is also a gamer, so fast, reliable speeds are essential. This router has delivered on both performance and reliability. Setup was quick and straightforward. After downloading the Nighthawk app, the entire installation process took only about 15 minutes from start to finish. The advertised range of up to 2,500 square feet is ideal for our home, and the ability to support up to 100 connected devices gives us plenty of capacity for all of our current and future devices. Between the excellent coverage, fast speeds, and easy setup, this router has exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended the Netgear Nighthawk RE300 to several friends and family members who are looking to upgrade their home network, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance router.
