This game is similar to all the other MARIO games that are out for sale.

I bought this game for my 4 year old and he has amazed me with his grasp on this game! There are areas he struggles with at times, but for the most part, he has had no trouble figuring out how to play. He loves it and would play for hours and hours if I let him. He loses interest quickly in most of the DS games I've bought him in the past but this one truly captures his attention and challenges him to try again! I love the excitement he feels when he beats a level! He's better than I am!

Recently I visited Best Buy to find a appropriate gaming system for my 4 yr old son. After reviewing what is out there for his age ,I decided on a Nintendo DS 3D for him to start out on , I then purchased him the new nintendo Super Mario brothers 2. The game is fairly easy an self explanatory to figure out ,even for a 4 yr . He really loves the game an can play real well ,the quality an the graphics of the game are awesome!! The graphics in the game have definitely improved since I was a kid .

This is a great game, even if it doesn't offer as many new features as one can expect with Mario releases. I liked it enough to get an extra copy for my daughter as a Christmas gift without hesitation!

My Kids love the game!!!!!!! The game reminds me of the old school Mario version I grew up playing. Can be challenging for younger kids to play some of the levels. The game is worth the it. The cost was not a bad price. Best Buy also price matches so you get the best price around! Highly recommend!!!

I enjoyed playing through this game. The 3D effects are nice. I recommend snatching up this game, especially as your first game. I am now at the point of trying to get more star coins to access the extra levels. My only complaint is that by giving you a white racoon suit after you die 5 times on the same level, it makes the game easier. It would better not to have that option, to allow people to perfect their strategy.

You know what you are getting with Nintendo, they are a classic brand that has stayed true to its roots. This game does not disappoint. In one vein it is more of the same. You have seen levels that look similar but they have evolved just enough to keep it fresh. This game is entertaining for all ages and skill levels. A welcome addition to any collection.

This was first purchase after getting the 3DSXL and I have been disappointed. It did require some getting used to as I had never before used any DS product, but once I got used to it, I was very pleased with the game-play, the new functionality and the different worlds. This game was the perfect way to re-enter the world of Nintendo and Super Mario Bros!

always enjoy Mario games, and this didn't let me down. I do believe some of the levels are a little too easy, but still overall a good one.

Having played "Super Mario" games since the original NES version, they have come a long way. Most of the games nowadays don't rely much on sole difficulty or skill (unless you unlock hidden or DLC levels) and this is in the same vein. The "gimmick" this time is the Gold Flower and the coin collectathon, but for some reason there is something fun about just collecting all the coins (and not worrying about lives). The multiplayer is fun is my son's favorite mode of play (as he likes to play with me or my wife). Highly recommended title, especially for young gamers. However, all ages can enjoy, no problem.

I didn't know what to expect with this game. I purchased this for my son, but my wife and I both basically took over after playing it. If you like super Mario bro's 3, and new super Mario bro's on wii and wii u, you will feel right at home. I say this is a must by for 2DS/3DS users.

My oldest son loves this game and his sister kept borrowing it to play it too. I got her this one as a Christmas gift so she wouldn't keep taking his. They'll also be able to play together in a two player game now. A great game in the Mario franchise.

My wife wanted this I think more than my son. They have been enjoying the classic Mario feel with new age graphics on the 3DS. It did seem a little shorter than previous Mario games we had played, but neither one has complained about anything.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my daughters, knowing the Mario bros would be a sure fire hit with both of them. Game is fun and approachable at any age, as even my youngest (4) would want to try and play it. Great replay ability, music, and classic fun.

I grabbed this game because it reminded me of when I'd play Super Nintendo with my siblings. I tend to have a short attention span, but this game is definitely fun. I've already completed it, but that doesn't stop me from replaying some levels.

I originally purchased my son the 2DS that came with Mario Kart preinstalled but he played a friends version that had this game preinstalled so he used his Christmas money to buy it, great game, we enjoy playing it together.

This game offers the classic Mario sidescrolling gameplay that people are familiar with at this point. The quality that differentiates this title is an emphasis on collecting coins, which includes a new power up that allows Mario to use his fireballs to turn enemies and blocks into coins. The gimmick is unnecessary but a welcome way to set this game apart from its predecessor. Overall, it is a solid Mario title for all ages.

Went to buy a tv and my wife saw the game on display and started playing. She injoyed it so much. I offered to buy it and she said no. We walked out with the tv only. So I got it for her for Christmas and she loves it.

This game is classic Mario side scrolling awesomeness! If you enjoy any of the side scrolling Mario games you must play this game too. It has great level design and the new emphasis on collecting coins makes the gameplay new and different.
