Little improvement over 16. Be a Pro is pretty much the same. Do what you are supposed to do, and the AI doesn't, keeping your ratings lower. GM mode is much improved. Overall game play is a bit better, but the AI still isn't very good at keeping AI players in position etc.

This game is awesome. I really enjoy the gameplay and the graphics are incredible. Two different people in my family walked in while I was playing this game and thought that I was watching a hockey game on TV rather than playing it on the PS4. I find the controls pretty good. Sometimes the game is reluctant to give you the player you want to control but perhaps I am still getting used to it. I haven't played NHL since the 2010 edition and this is a huge step up. The actual footage and graphics used make the game look even more realistic.

EA continues to remove items from previous versions which makes no sense to me. If it was in a previous version it would seem logical that it would be easier to leave it in rather then take it out. That being said, this is still the only option for online NHL hockey with friends. the EASHL is still available and HUT appears to be popular but I am not sure why you would only want to play 1v1 when 6v6 is an option. Game play is a little off compared to last year but plays about the same. No major noticeable improvements over 2016 but still a good, fun team game for ps4.

While it's still not the perfect NHL game, and there may never be one, NHL 17 has definitely improved over NHL 16. Biggest additions is more customization with create a player and the addition of create a team. the Create a Team mode is nice, still slightly limited and it's obvious when you face off against a created team due to the lack of on ice ads, but the foundation of the mode our there and hopefully will continue to advance in NHL 18. As for now, NHL 17 is available and definitely worth the upgrade from NHL 16

So i am really getting to like hockey, but i dont know the rules too well...so i decided to buy a hockey game, and i love it...i learned so much from this game....and also its great fun to play it as well....

Hockey and sports fans should not miss out on this game here, and it's EA so one can't really go wrong, this one has it all.

feels like 16 ,still lose the puck with a little bump, cpu players still dumb as stumps, same stupid set classes for player builds, stick lift still broken, only thing it does it get u a penalty. This only hockey game out so its this or nothing. will Ea ever make a great hockey game again? hopefully soon because this one is not

This was my first hockey game purchase for my PS4 and I couldn't be happier. I will def buy subsequent years

Easily one of the best series that EA Sports produces. Graphics, playability, realism - all are here. Looking forward to nephew receiving his copy at xmas so we can compete on-line. If you have skipped a year or two of the series, its definitely time to upgrade and enjoy all the current features. Go Penguins!

I love hockey and this game is really good graphics are great a must have for all the hockey fans

The last few years seemed to be just standard roster updates. This year NHL 17 adds more depth to GM Mode and the gameplay out of the box is a lot better. Still needs some minor tweaks in the settings and we will see what happens with the first roster update but overall pretty happy with the game and the direction the franchise is headed.

I have owned every EA NHL game since skill stick and this is clearly the best one. The game however has gotten noticeably harder. Stick lifts and especially passing require much more precision than previous years. Still an amazing game!

It had been awhile since my last NHL game so picking this one up I had to learn how to play it all over again. The controls are easy to pick up on the go. I have yet to master the game, but I'm loving the game play and the career mode.

As someone who was stayed away from most of the hockey games over the past few years as they are unrealistic, NHL17 is awesome. It is extremely realistic and plays great. Would highly recommend!

EA never fails in the NHL series. If you have not had an NHL game before, the game could be difficult but if you have played before, it will be easy to pick up with new features

Great game all though they all kinda seem to be the same.

This is good game even if you are not a hockey fan.
