I absolutely love this camera! It is definitely taking my business to a whole new level! So easy to use/ learn. I was upgrading from a D5100 and it is completely different but I’ve gotten the hang of it pretty quickly! It is so fast, so crisp and clear, I have done 4 photo sessions and haven’t charged my battery!

The Nikon Z 6ii is super awesome! I shoot a lot of low light images and enjoy the fact that this camera produces minimal color banding at low ISO, low light, and when there are color gradients (e.g. sunsets / sunrises). It creates beautiful images and it's worth every single penny. This camera is a great value since there are cameras out there that cost way more and produce lower quality images than the Z 6ii. You will not be disappointed. My sample image is straight out of the camera unedited.

Coming from a D850, and D7500, it took some time getting use to the Z6ii, but really came to enjoy the digital viewfinder, really made getting the exposure easier. You still have to make sure that you have the right shutter speed to nail the focus. All in all this is a good camara. My only concern was shooting birds, but with practice, the IBIS, helps. The Nikon app will allow you to download jpegs directly to your phone via Bluetooth or you can download full resolution jpegs, but not automatically.

This is a fantastic camera for the price point. Better battery than I expected and all the AF modes make it a breeze to use depending on situation. It's a change from DSLR but I do like seeing how the picture will look before you even take it. I actually really like the lens it came with, it's not far off from being a pro lens.

Five stars out five. Great camera kit. Upgraded from d7000. Take great photos in a low light. Nikon app comes really handy if what to share your photos on the spot. The camera menu very similar to my d7000. Viewfinder is amazing on this camera, any adjustments shows right away makes it so much easier to take the photos you what.

Nikon Z6ii is the best mirrorless camera I ever had. I have a bunch of Canons crop and Full sensor, but I got in love with this camera when I grab a sample in Best Buy and look thru the Electronic Viewfinder, I just loved it. Dynamic Range, Image and built quality are superb. It has a lot of options and settings to keep you entertained for while. It was the camera I chose to take on my road trip to the Smoky Mountains in Ocotber 2021

I am super happy with this camera. The color it creates is amazing. The best one I ever had. Whether it’s low light or action, this camera delivers. I used Nikon 70-300mm with adopter and it’s fast. Tamron 150-600mm with adopter also good. Once you figure out the focus modes the fun starts.

A big upgrade from the original Z6 camera body, internally. Outside it being a tad thicker, the outside is the same. Nice to have a 2nd card slot again, but it's always been an overflow for me, so the single on the original Z6 wasn't much of a deal breaker. The biggest upgrade is the additional processor to handle computing in the camera. I feel like this, in addition to human and animal AF tracking (in photo mode), make this camera that much better. The menu system is pretty much the same but there are a few more customizations now that I won't dive into detail about. I also feel like this version of the Nikon Z series bodies would be more likely to get firmware updates to make it even better, with that 2nd processor capabilities. I do notice a little handicapping with AF with any F mount lens and the FTZ adapter. With a native Z lens, it's a different, but better, experience. As a mainly wildlife photographer, I am now anxiously waiting for Nikon to release some longer zoom lenses like the 1-400mm and 2-600mm they have on their Roadmap for next year. With mirrorless, in general, there is an adjustment period getting used to the viewfinder. I DO like that you now see real time adjustments you're making with your settings. For me, personally, it's taking some of the guess work in knowing if I have my settings in the ballpark or even right in the first place. It IS odd looking at a video playing, through the eyepiece, instead of a real "mirrored" image but I got used to it pretty fast. This Z6ii also seems to have tweaked the slight blackout lag between burst photos that the Z6 had. It's almost seamless now and easier to track flying or moving subjects. I don't regret a thing with selling my Z6, at a loss, to upgrade to this version. I now can't wait for the Z7ii to be released. The minimal price difference between this body and the Z6 is minimal, so if you're thinking about getting into Nikon mirrorless, get THIS version. I can see them leaving the old version behind with future firmware updates as it would be hindered with the single processor but this is just my speculation.
