The Ninja double oven pro comes bundled with two wire racks, two bake pans, a crumb tray, and an air fryer basket. Two guides are also included. One is a small full color guide containing usage tips, cooking guidelines, and recipes. The other is a black and white detailed user guide. Oven dimensions measured at 18-inches wide, 16-inches deep (including handles), and 14-inches high. The power cord measures 32-inches long and requires a three-prong outlet. The top oven can bake, broil, toast, warm and reheat. The convection equipped bottom oven can air fry, convection bake, roast, air roast, and has a dedicated pizza setting. There is no convection in the top oven. Both ovens can be used independently or in sync with the smart finish feature. Operation is straightforward and the majority of the controls are easy and intuitive to use. We were able to figure out most controls on our own, although we read the manual for guidance on any unfamiliar controls like smart finish and to ensure we were operating the oven correctly. Both ovens each have two small buttons for setting time and temp along with a dial on each for setting any desired options and to start/stop cooking. The temp and time buttons on the top oven can also adjust temp/time by desired shade and number of slices during toaster oven use. The smart finish button activates a feature that syncs the two ovens to finish cooking at the same time. For example, if one oven is set to cook for 30 minutes and the other is set to cook for 15 minutes, the oven with the shorter cooking time will hold for 15 minutes before beginning to cook. This ensures both ovens finish cooking at the exact same time without any further user intervention. There are two additional buttons on the bottom oven that control power and lighting for both ovens. Heat on exterior oven surfaces can get quite warm or hot, particularly on the top. Whenever the oven is used, the word "Hot" is displayed on the LCD panel as a warning until it cools down. One thing we found odd is that the air fryer preheats. This differs from our previous air fryers which began cooking immediately. Other modes also utilize preheating but some cooking modes like broil, toast, bagel and keep warm don't require preheating. Whenever using smart finish, only the longer timed oven preheats. The shorter timed oven starts cooking immediately once the times sync regardless of the selected mode. The air fryer works well and cooks foods quickly without burning as long as the temperature and/or cooking time are appropriate. Both ovens maintain stable cooking temperatures during baking and foods are thoroughly and evenly cooked throughout. We haven't encountered any cold spots or uneven cooking with our foods when prepared correctly. The recipe book provides several delicious meal options that can be cooked utilizing both ovens and also instructs how to properly use different cooking features like smart finish. The first time we used smart finish, the bottom oven appeared to wait for the top, but when I went to the kitchen to check the food, I discovered the top oven was still cooking but the bottom oven had turned off. I had to restart the bottom oven manually to cook the food that was still inside. I was fortunate to notice it around the time it should have started anyhow, so not much time was lost. I realized after the fact that I apparently pushed the bottom dial in the incorrect sequence which caused the bottom air fryer to never sync and it eventually powered off automatically after 10 minutes of standby. Since becoming more familiar with using smart finish, we haven't experienced that particular issue again. We are happy with the performance of the Ninja double oven pro. Coming from a single combo oven/air fryer, this dual-oven combo has become very popular in our household. There is no more waiting for the oven to become available if it is already in use. It also makes cooking quicker and more efficient by providing two ovens that can be synced to finish together. No more guessing how to cook two different foods with different temp/time requirements simultaneously. If chicken nuggets take 20 minutes at 380 degrees and tater tots have to air fry for 10 minutes at 350 degrees, I can load both, set the respective mode/time/temp and have them properly cooked and ready together. The oven takes up slightly more countertop space than the previous model, but the convenience of having two independent or collaborative ovens at our disposal makes the tradeoff worth it.

The Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer is a convenient way to cook multiple foods at once. It is Stainless Steel for a modern look and will fit in any kitchen. Dials and buttons at a minimum, and simple controls make it easy to use. You get a toaster, oven (regular and convection), and an air-fryer all in one. The top and bottom can do different types of cooking at one. If the bottom oven is on, the top over gets some heat, but not enough to affect cooking with it. The dual timing feature can also make meals come out hot and ready at the same time. The overall dimensions are about the same as any large toaster oven. The oven comes with the trays and plates you’ll need for both ovens. The top is for toasting, broiling, reheating and keeping food warm. The bottom is an air fryer, oven, and convection oven with modes for air roasting and roasting larger items. Since this item has two ovens, large items may not fit in the bottom, bigger, one compared to a single toaster oven. The top is great for toast, waffles, bagel, baking, etc. The bottom is for larger items and air-frying. Operating either oven is simple. Power on the unit, select the over to use, turn the oven specific dial to the desired operation. Then select modifiers like temperature, time, or how dark you might want bread. The digital readouts will show the time remaining, temperature, darkness of toast etc for the oven they are next too. Just a few buttons and a dial to control everything. The temperatures all seemed to be accurate whether baking, toasting or cooking. Results were always evenly done. In addition to independent operation, the ovens can be set to finish at the same time. So, you air-fry and bake at the same time having the dishes finish at the same time with Smart Finish button in the middle of the oven controls. A great feature when needed. The oven has worked great in all its settings so far. Be careful with the tray accessories, as some are not dishwasher safe. The unit will also let you know when it’s hot and still cooling down after use. Before first use, clean and then set it on high for 15-20 minutes. Burning off the smell from manufacturing is not something you want in your food. After that, it works well and if you have multiple dishes will save you time.

Ninja - Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer - Stainless Steel The Ninja Double Oven Pro is a well-thought-out and executed countertop Oven and Air Fryer. I have used and tested a number of countertop Ovens with integrated Air Fryers and this one exceeded my expectations. When you are first exposed to the specifications, you think to yourself, " This is going to take up a lot of real estate in my kitchen, and it better be worth it.” The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was that it doesn’t occupy any more counter space than the oven I replaced it with. I have mine in a non-covered counter space, and yes, it is taller, but it fits surprising amounts of stuff in the same counter-size space, and the height is only 13.26 inches. Other single-oven toaster/air fryers with about 0.88 cubic feet of space are slightly over 11 inches high. The Ninja Double Oven specs: 0.95 cubic feet rated Capacity, 13.26 inches high, 16.63 inches wide, 18.6 inches deep, 33.1 pounds, and, like all air fryer/toaster ovens, make sure you have some space around the unit for air circulation. WHAT'S INCLUDED: 2 sheet pans, 2 wire racks, 1 Air Fry Basket, 1 Crumb Tray, Quick Start Guide, and 15-Recipe Guide. Now, to answer the question, is the Unit worth it? IMO opinion a big YES! This oven is sleek and good-looking. The outside stays surprisingly cooler than my other ovens have, and it doesn’t have vents at the top; instead, it vents out the sides and back. It has auto preheat and a cool-down at the end of its cooking cycle. Even when using both top and bottom ovens, it doesn’t get objectionably hot on the outside or its surroundings. Depending on the selected function, the Ninja Double Oven Pro activates the necessary heating elements and adjusts airflow to optimize cooking results. The top toaster oven uses QuartzHeat Technology with heating elements on the top and bottom. The built-in functions: Broil, Toast, Bagel, Bake, Reheat and Keep Warm. The bottom Smart Air Fryer Oven uses Convection Air Technology without exposed heating elements and has the built-in functions: Whole Roast, Air Roast, Air Fry, Convection Bake, Pizza, and Max Crisp. You can combine different functions and utilize Ninja’s Smart Finish Technology to synchronize the ovens, ensuring your meal finishes simultaneously. And you can use both ovens at the same time without using this feature if you wish. I tried several recipes and was pleased with the result every time. I made homemade Pizza the size of the bottom sheet pan in the Convection Oven and broiled vegetables in the top Quartz Heat oven. Bagels came out perfect in the Quartz Heat oven and it has a nice extra feature of a shade control to get them toasted to your preference. I cooked tuna and salmon in the top oven synced with baked potatoes and corn on the cob in the bottom oven on air fry. Convection baking of cookies and a cake were as expected with everything turning out nice and fluffy. I spatchcocked a whole chicken and cooked it rotisserie-style on the bottom while making homemade mac and cheese in the top. I even reheated a Mexican Enchilada casserole and it came out great. And I had an excuse to Max-Crisp some wings and was very happy with the results. The oven will remember the last use settings, which is convenient, especially if you misjudged the cooking time. The Quick Start Guide and 15-Recipe Guide were very useful and easy to use. The Recipe Guide gave you recipes to try and hints on using the double oven. The oven was pretty straightforward to use. And easy to clean up. I only have two things that I could improve on. One is to have a bottom oven crumb tray – though it is easy to clean, a pull-out crumb tray would make cleanup even easier, as when you air fry coated items, some crumbs can miss the pan underneath. Two, when setting up for cooking pizza, it would be nice to have the ‘PIZZA’ setting put in the 400 Degree cooking temp, along with the time. The Ninja Double Oven Pro has become my favorite countertop convection oven-plus and I enjoy using it and experimenting with various recipes.

Top quartz toaster oven compartment works just like Ninja Flip unit that this one is replacing. Operation and controls are very similar, so the learning curve was small. There are so many good things to say about the top oven, now add a second larger bottom oven adds so much more functionality. All of this in a unit that has a relatively small footprint and fits neatly on a counter without looking too large. The controls are well laid out and easy to use. The digital displays are nice sized and easy to read from most distances and angles. The racks and trays are easy to remove and clean. The light will automatically come on when nearing the end of the cooking cycle, but I really like the physical light button to turn it on whenever desired. My other Ninja oven did not have that option. We toast, broil and air fry a lot. The max crisp setting is also nice if you like your fries or whatever just a little crispier without having to put back in for another cycle. The smart finish function is another cleaver feature for getting two things with different cooking times to finish at the same time. I haven’t made a pizza in it yet but I am looking forward to trying out that setting the next time there is a smallish pizza that I need to cook. Would have liked to see some suggested time & temperature suggestions for the reheat function in the instructions rather than trial and error. Other than that, the instructions were easy to understand and follow.

Don't let the small size fool you. The Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer is a powerhouse, and we love it. This is our second Ninja Double Oven, and the improvements are immediately apparent. Beginning on the front panel, there are stainless round handles, one for each oven, that have a very premium feel and appearance. The backlit text on the control panel makes it much easier to identify and select cooking options. Each oven has its own single-knob rotary/push to select. It is very intuitive and makes choosing mode, time and temperature super simple. Both oven interiors have their own light placed high on the rear wall. It is very easy to view cooking progress. The upper oven uses quartz heating elements that heat very quickly and radiate heat very evenly. Load the top rack with bread slices, and just a couple of minutes later you have perfect slices of toast. My personal favorite in the top oven is bagels. The way it somehow toasts the outside crisp while maintaining the tender interior makes for a delicious bite. The lower oven is a more traditional convection oven that doubles as an air fryer. Ninja has been the leader in air fryers for years, and that experience really pays off. Load the included basket with French fries and you’re soon rewarded with perfectly crisp treats. The air fryer basket is now my go-to for reheating leftovers. The way air circulates in the lower oven means quick, even heating. For messier reheats – say a slice of lasagna – a sheet of parchment lining the floor of the basket means effortless cleanup. As (bad) luck would have it, our kitchen oven failed shortly after getting the Ninja Double Oven. Waiting for the replacement wasn’t so bad. The Ninja Double Oven filled in perfectly and gave us the opportunity to get to know Smart Finish. You can set the time and temperature of each oven and, using Smart Finish, the 7-minute mozzarella sticks in the top oven are done at the same time as the 30-minute chicken breast in the lower oven. We love this appliance. The included manual contains several enticing recipes that really serve as an inspiration. Be sure to peruse its pages. It gave me some ideas for adapting some old family standbys to the smaller, more efficient oven. My wife’s trusted brownie recipe turned out delicious and gooey, just like I like it. “Versatile” is the word that comes to mind when I try to think of a concise description of the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL. It truly is a jack of all trades that hasn’t let us down. I enthusiastically recommend it.

I am a big fan of Ninja products. When I saw this double toaster/convection/air fryer combo, I knew I needed to get it. I have a teen that I am trying to get to cook more for himself. My last "smart" oven needed an advanced degree to use. This one is much more intuitive, and corrections are easy if you hit the wrong button. The broil setting in the top smaller oven is VERY hot! I put some hamburger buns in for a couple of minutes and ended up with charcoal! Oops! The toast setting in the same oven is very easy- how many slices and how dark? Easy peasy. The air fryer is a typical oven style air fryer. I find that they are different than the stand alone air fryer units. These don't seem to crisp quite as much or as quickly. I have not had the opportunity to cook a whole chicken or something that large in it but I am sure it will be better this summer than heating up the kitchen with the large oven. There are a few "tweaks" that would make this even more perfect- I wish the racks would slide out slightly when you open the oven doors. Especially the top one. It is very narrow and trying to reach in to get what I need has caused a few slight burns (I know, I could use an oven mitt!). If the rack slid out just a little, I could access the food more easily. The oven does not connect to the app (at this time- I hope that changes with future upgrades). They do have recipes for the oven on the app but I can't monitor it like from other rooms like my Ninja Thermometer. The preheat moves right into the timer count down. That means staying in the kitchen until it preheats and putting the food in as soon as it alerts, or what I do, which is to come back once it's preheated, put the food in and readjust the time back to what I need. Again, not a big deal but a little delay from preheat to starting the timer would be nice. Overall, this is my favorite smart countertop oven (and I have had a LOT over the years). This is easy to use and heats quickly. Hopefully Ninja Corp adds it to the app for remote monitoring soon!

I actually picked this up for my mother in law who has a non functioning stove which she doesn't want to fix and was getting by on a much older, smaller Ninja basic air fryer but was limited by its size and functionality. She loved it, but just wasn't advanced enough for some of her other cooking needs. Enter the Ninja XL.... We surprised her with it for an early Mother's Day gift and to say she was touched was an understatement. Even better, she LOVES it. After setting it up which was an absolute breeze, the digital controls are a nice upgrade to her older model. First thing she wanted to try was making a "proper" frozen pizza in the oven vs trying to cook it in pieces in her toaster or shoehorning it into her older air fryer and the pizza came out perfect. The ability to cook potatoes and other items that work better in a wider, flatter "oven" type setting but using the air fryer portion has worked really well and allowed her to go back to traditional oven style cooking for dishes and side dishes. She lives alone, so her portion sizes fit perfectly for her with some extra even. The combination of both a small oven AND an even better capable air fryer has her completely satisfied (and some new meals now being sent home for us is an added bonus). Any downsides? None so far. It has been tested for breakfast, lunch and dinner so far and has passed all with flying colors. It is a bit large, and as a test before taking it to her, we put it under our cabinets in the kitchen to see and it can swallow a small counter real quick, but her counters are larger and open and it fits perfect and looks terrific. We actually use a Ninja air fryer ourselves as does my brother and we all love their line up. This is yet another winner from Ninja especially if you want dual functionality of a traditional oven and air fryer.

Tested the Ninja-Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer. Plugged right in after taking off the the materials. Read the booklet and decided to start off toasting bread, bagels, to make sandwiches and also breakfast. The bottom portion of the oven your able to air fry and bake food at the same time. Was able to fit a small chicken at the bottom, in addition to baking a small pizza I got from the store. Love that the oven tells you when it is hot and needs to cool down. It has a Hello and Bye Feature, in addition to being able to select the quantity of items that you are cooking at the top when selecting toast, bagels, etc. Your able to set the amount of time you need items to cook. It comes with two trays, in addition to a frying rack. At the top portion of the oven it also has a baking feature and a reheat feature. While the bottom rack is mainly for cooking the main dishes of your food. Overall love this oven and will be using it daily. Appreciate being able to test out the product. Pros: Easy to setup Lets you know when it's hot Can cook two items at the same time Easy to Clean and Maintain Cons: Not a deal breaker, but could be a tiny bit wider. Overall love it and would recommend to others.

This Ninja Double oven X large counter top oven and air frier deserves all the praise. I've gone through 6 air friers in the past 10 years and this is by far the best in all terms. it looks good, very well built, has a lot of capacity where I can do 3 things at the same time. food cooks evenly, and the pre set options are actually accurate. it comes with 2 drip pans and 3 mesh baskets so you can make Pizza on top and fries and wings at the bottom at the same time. you can make your mixed greens or roast beef or chicken! no problem. its also surprisingly quieter than all the air friers I've experienced before. it looks nice and disappears in the kitchen among the other appliances. Ninja always throws it out the park when it comes to quality control and features. this oven is so convenient and makes cooking healthier so much easier. its also powerful with decent cooking times. each oven has preset options for what you want to do and has oven lights as well to see what's cooking. based on the quality of past Ninja appliances i've had, this is going to last years to come.

This double oven is Great! The dual cooking compartments makes it easy to make meals and side dishes without a hassle. Each oven has its unique function and capabilities. The top side can broil, bake and toast. The bottom oven can air fry, roast and bake. The dials make it easy to setup temperatures and cook times. The large digital displays make it easy to view the cook times. This double oven has a unique feature where you can set up different cook times but can finish at the same time. This feature is called the smart finish. When enabled, the oven recognizes the difference in cook times and makes adjustments so that the cooking on both ovens finish at the same time. I've used the broil feature to make crispy grilled cheese and also to melt cheese on enchiladas and nachos. The bottom oven I've used to air fry bacon, chicken nuggets, and breaded fish. This oven is a game changer when making breakfast and our son's school lunch at the same time in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this double oven to anyone in the market for one.

The 2026 Ninja Double Oven Pro offers the convenience of two independent ovens in a small footprint, and its FlavorSeal design successfully prevents smell transfer. However, performance is surprisingly inconsistent when using both cavities at once. Regarding the Smart Finish feature, I initially struggled to sync the timers, but this was a case of user error. Following the manual's specific handshake sequence made it work perfectly, though the process isn't intuitive out of the box. The main drawback is that the manual recommends adding extra cooking time when using both ovens. This suggests the unit lacks the power to maintain optimal temperatures in both compartments simultaneously, leading to hit-or-miss textures. In my tests, a top-oven pizza came out with a doughy, slightly undercooked crust while the bottom-oven wings ended up with rubbery skin due to poor steam venting. I achieved better results by air frying wings alone using the Max Crisp setting; they still weren't perfectly crispy, but the texture was much improved. Heat distribution also seems uneven. While the top oven baked chicken thighs perfectly, air-fried broccoli in the bottom oven turned to ash. Similarly, a Detroit-style pizza in the bottom oven cooked fine in the front but remained underdone in the back-middle. The design also forces some frustrating compromises. The dedicated Pizza logic and Air Fry settings are both locked to the bottom oven, meaning you can't use them simultaneously. Moving the pizza to the top oven to make room for wings means you don't get the same targeted heat needed to crisp the crust. Overall, it’s a sharp-looking appliance, but expect to do manual tweaking and pan-rotating if you want high-quality results for two dishes at once.

I’m a long time fan of Ninja appliances. From blenders to smokers, Ninja always delivers. I shouldn’t be too surprised then by how solid the Ninja Double Oven Pro is! The build quality feels great, with a solid stainless steel finish, smooth door action, and stylish and intuitive controls. It’s a larger unit but looks great on the counter. The style is clean and modern. Expect the feel of a premium tech appliance without looking bulky. What makes it stand out is the dual oven design. Having two independent cooking zones is genuinely useful because I can toast or reheat in the top while air frying or roasting in the bottom. It also uses QuartzHeat elements (on top) for fast heating, and the 12 different cook options adds a lot of flexibility for bake, broil, toast, pizza, air fry, roast, and keep warm modes. All the modes I tested were great. However, I do think the Air Fry mode is a little underpowered. I’ve used other similar products that seemed to cook a bit faster. Ease of use is another big win. The controls are simple to learn, preheats quickly, and cleanup is easy with the crumb tray (on top) and two included removable sheet pans. I’m not a huge fan of the air fry basket. It might be one of the more challenging accessories to clean. Something about the thin wire mesh that really hangs on to food and creates and pretty tough surface to keep clean. Overall, it feels well designed, powerful, and gets an absolute recommended “buy” from me!

Ninja makes great small appliances and this is no exception to that. I got the stainless steel version and the overall build quality seems to be pretty good. Its labeled as XL so its on the larger side but still fits on my counter nicely without looking too big for the space. With that said you can fit a lot of food into this thing if you use both ovens at the same time. The top one is pretty narrow though. I really like that the fan is on the side of the unit instead of the back like some other models. Keeps my walls from getting gross over time. The controls are pretty easy to use once you get used to them, and both of the displays are very readable. There is a internal light you can turn on in both compartments but I noticed the light pulsates when I have the air fryer on. My family has really taken to the dual-oven setup that can be run at the same time. The bottom oven is bigger than the top so I find it better for baking. The two ovens share some functionality but only the bottom has air fry. We use the top for toasting bread/bagels/waffles and the bottom for baking and air frying. The air fryer on this thing is fantastic, and noticeably quieter than my older model. It also has an Max Crisp setting, which from what I can tell just maxes the temperature out at 450 degrees so all you do is set the time and go. The results speak for themselves: food comes out incredibly crispy, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. It comes with 6 accessories: Air Fry Basket 1 Sheet Pans 2 Wire Racks 2 Crumb Tray 1 I recommend reviewing the manual. It covers all the different settings, where to put the accessories for each mode, and most importantly how long to cook food for each mode. If you follow the directions in the manual everything comes out perfectly. As for cleaning I highly recommend putting the sheet pan under the airy fry basket and tin foil over the crumb tray to help keep it clean. So far that has helped quite a bit with the messes. Ive been happy with how everything has been coming out. So far I have found it to be very precise. From toasting toast to air frying chicken, it gets used daily in my house. My microwave and oven get used a lot less now. It really does it all!

I recently found myself in a bit of a predicament at work when the used convection oven I brought in failed our organization’s safety inspection. It was old enough that it didn’t have the third, round grounding prong on the plug, and part of the heating element extended low enough that it was burning any crumbs it touched. During the inspection, the fire marshal took one look at it and decided it was time for the oven to go. I needed to replace it quickly, and I immediately started looking at products from Ninja because I’ve always had great experiences with their products. I own quite a few Ninja appliances already, so using the controls and reading the display feels very natural to me at this point. Their products tend to be intuitive, reliable, and packed with useful features. What really caught my attention about the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer was how multifunctional it is. It can handle pretty much everything we’d want at work—toasting bagels or bread, broiling, baking, reheating, and air frying. There’s even a pizza setting for frozen pizzas. It’s perfect for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks throughout the day. Our old convection oven didn’t have an air fry feature, and that alone makes a huge difference when reheating fried foods. Another big selling point for me was the stacked design. Having “two independent ovens” in the footprint of one appliance is ideal when counter space is limited. We already have the perfect corner picked out for it in the break room, and it should fit beautifully. Since it handles so many different cooking functions, it also eliminates the need for multiple appliances cluttering up the space. Even better, two people can cook at the same time without waiting on each other. I also like that the separate ovens help keep flavors and smells from mixing between foods cooking above and below. One feature I hadn’t seen before is the Smart Finish option. When it’s turned on, both ovens sync so the food finishes cooking at the same time. I absolutely love that idea—especially during a lunch break when you want everything ready together instead of one item getting cold while the other finishes. The quartz heating elements also cook food surprisingly fast. The oven comes with two wire racks, two bake pans, a crumb tray, and an air fry basket. Everything is easy to clean, and the instruction booklet does a great job explaining what to use, when to use it, and where everything belongs. That will definitely help everyone in the break room use the oven properly and hopefully keep it clean. One thing I’ve always appreciated about Ninja products is the owner’s guide. The booklets are clear, easy to follow, and filled with helpful photos, cooking charts, recipes, and cautionary tips that actually stand out instead of getting buried in fine print. Even the Safety Instructions guide is worth reading before using the appliance. I’ve actually been testing the oven at home first so I can get familiar with how everything works before bringing it into the office. My coworkers are eager for me to move it into the break room, but honestly, I’m going to miss having it at home. The air fry basket is noticeably larger than the one on my current unit, and the Smart Finish feature worked perfectly when I reheated leftover chicken bomb sandwiches and sweet potato fries so they finished at the exact same time. That alone sold me on it.

The Ninja - Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer is a roomy timesaver. The Smart Finish works great at getting food from both top and bottom finished at the same time. No more watching the clock, or letting one food get cold while another gets cooked. I've many times had to change the menu because the timing and temp were too far off of each other or something needed baking while the other needed air frying. With this, I can do both and have them finish at the same time even when they cook at different temps and times. The compartments are roomy for a countertop appliance. It is recommended to run the ovens with all racks and pans inside for 25 minute at 450°F before the first use to remove residue. It got smelly for a bit - you've been warned. There are so many functions to use. I've used the baking, toasting, air fry options with the Smart Finish to sync the timing, and it's done an excellent job on everything so far. From chicken strips, fries, flatbread, garlic toast, biscuits, corn on the cob, brussel sprouts, taco shells, and more. As with any new appliance, it takes some time to get to know it. The toasting definitely needs to be watched closely at first until the timing/setting is to preference. Also, per directions, it is necessary to add at least a couple of minutes to the time on each oven when using them both simultaneously. The air fryer basket is large and can hold a lot of food. Preheating is so quick, and even using both ovens doesn't heat up the house like a typical range does. I like that there are no heating elements on the bottom of the air fryer oven making it much easier to clean up. I can put a bake pan on the rack under the fry basket to catch drippings, but I didn't think I needed it the other night and ended up with some drippings on the oven floor. Fortunately with no heating elements in the way it was a quick easy clean with no finger pinching. The wire racks and air fry basket can go in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended. The drip tray and the bake pans are handwash only. Cleanup has been so quick and easy that I've just been handwashing them all so far. The appliance is large, but considering all it does and the amount of food it can cook at once it actually takes up less space than I would have expected. This is a great oven, very convenient, made very well and I highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying we love shark ninja products. We own several including and oven, 2 drawer air fryer, indoor grill, pressure cooker, oven and other things such as air cleaners and a vacuum. I never had a product fail and the quality is always at a high standard and I am an old school loyalist. I live in an apartment and this is replacing the air fryer and oven as counter space is limited. It works as expected. The air fryer cooked the chicken wings well and we tried the oven pizza setting which also worked well. The simple layout of the selection dial and separate temperature and time buttons make it super easy to use and adjust while cooking. It has a nice modern look and the grates and pans are well made. Like many of their products they don't require a lot of hype because they always do what they say without all the additional marketing fluff. It just works and very well. This would be great for anyone but especially if you have limited space as it has plenty of room also to use as a full oven alternative.

I just took my old air fryer and toaster to Goodwill now that I have this Ninja combo oven. Combining an oven and air fryer into one appliance makes it extremely convenient. The only issue was finding adequate counter space because it's much bigger than the other two together. That's not a bad thing because this can do so much more. We have a baker's rack that makes a perfect fit. While some air fryers have a deep basket the Ninja is a bit shallower but makes up for it in surface area, which actually works better if you are trying to crank out a bunch of French fries or maybe some breaded fish fillets, chicken wings or tenders that could use a bit of separation for a more even cook. The air fryer is much, much quieter than the one we had that this replaced. With our previous one we couldn't hear anything but the fryer. There is also a quiet cool down cycle since it can be a bit warm to the touch after cooking. Friday I took some frozen breaded fish fillets and cooked them in the top oven and put our favorite frozen French fries in the bottom, each requiring their own specific temperature and cook time but using the sync functions both were done at the same time so everything was served hot. The two ovens are completely separate so if you are cooking something aromatic in one it doesn't bleed over to the other. We are still trying to get used to the cook times and temps but the included recipe guide helps set expectations and gives us cook ideas. In addition to the recipe guide it comes with 2 wire racks, a crumb tray, two sheet pans, the air fryer basket. Clean up was really easy while using the sheet pans to catch any dripping (I put some aluminum foil in to make clean up even easier) and the crumb tray for toast and bagels. So far we are pretty impressed with this dual function oven. I think tonight we will be preparing our favorite pizza. Winner!!

TLDR: Great double counter-top electric oven that also air fries and warms food items. Simple controls with cool hidden displays for both ovens. When I saw the Ninja Double Oven Pro had two ovens I had to see for myself. This oven is very modern, smart, and looks great!!. It does not use up as much counter space as other ones in the market. Though the box it arrives in is so big, it is the styrofoam to protect it in transportation. SPECS: It comes with 2 sheet pans, 2 wire racks, 1 Air Fry Basket, 1 Crumb Tray, Quick Start Guide, and 15-Recipe Guide. ADDED BONUS: the outside stays slightly cooler than my other ovens have. It has auto preheat and a cool down at the end of the cycle. When using both top and bottom ovens, it doesn’t get as hot on the outside. That’s great if little ones are helping you out. TOP OVEN built in functions of Broil, Toast, Bagel, Bake, Reheat and Keep Warm. BOTTOM OVEN built-in functions of Whole Roast, Air Roast, Air Fry, Convection Bake, Pizza, and Max Crisp. GREAT SMART features: You can combine different functions and utilize Ninja’s Smart Finish Technology to synchronize the ovens, ensuring your meal finishes simultaneously. TRIED and TRUE RECIPES: I tried several recipes and was very happy with the results every time. For example, I made homemade pizza and who does not like pizza. I used the bottom sheet pan in the Convection Oven and broiled vegetables in the top Quartz Heat oven. Toast came out perfect in the Quartz Heat oven and it has a great extra feature of a shade control to get them toasted to your liking. I cooked salmon in the top oven synced with homemade fries in the bottom oven on air fry. Convection baking of brownies were delightful. I also reheated pasta with pesto sauce and it came out delicious. EASE of USE: The Quick Start Guide and 15-Recipe Guide were very useful and easy to use. The Recipe Guide gave you recipes and hints on using the double oven. Cleaning is very easy as well. I have one small but somewhat necessary item that could improve clean up. I would love to have a bottom oven crumb tray which would make cleaning up much easier and faster. If you are looking for a small counter footprint appliance, easy to use and clean up, then I recommend the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer.

In the box is the oven, two wire racks, one removable crumb tray, two black sheet pans, one air fryer basket and a chef inspired recipe book. Disclaimer - This is my first double oven type of product. First Impression - The oven is a decent weight, height and width. I am previous owner of a stand-alone small oven, so I was able to replace this oven with the Ninja in the same space. First off, I love that I am able to get move my older oven to another area in the house (probably my work at home office) and I can also move some of my other Ninja items to my office as well because this oven doesn’t necessarily replace my other items, its just I can do more with one appliance instead of multiple. It is definitely a space saver. I basically use this product at least once everyday. Since I am able to do more with one product instead of multiples, it has made my cook time a lot easier, especially when I work at home. I can multitask even more and put my dinner on and do some chores after work since there is a timer and the oven shuts off. I would also like to add that the recipe book that comes with the oven is very helpful in guiding you through times, tips and tricks for best results and easy cleaning. One of the ones I was glad to see was the tip to layer your trays to help with crumbs since there is only one crumb tray and also how to reduce smoke. (There is also a QR code in the booklet for more.) There are meal ideas for cooking meals with the top and bottom oven. I did check my other Ninja recipe books from other products and some of recipes are similar for their ingredients but with different cook and preparation styles. Overall, I really love this oven and I will definitely recommend this product to friends and family and I would purchase again.

Review for Ninja - Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer Having recently retired, I find I’m doing more cooking, but mainly just for me and my wife. I thought the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer would be a good compromise when I want to cook a full meal but only for two people. I was right. The oven doesn’t take a lot of counter space because of its stacked design. And it’s certainly less than a standard oven. I have an air fryer, but feel like I only pull it out for specific kinds of cooking. This oven stays in place and serves so many additional needs. I used it to make morning toast and bagels, grilled cheese at lunch, and then baked a whole, small chicken and air-fried potatoes for dinner. The versatility is just what I was looking for; I really don’t like single-use appliances. The controls are easy to use and I really like the SmartFinish feature that cooks two different dishes so that they are ready at the same time. I thought it would take some getting used to, but having owned other Ninja appliances, it seemed both simple and familiar. This replaced an old toaster oven on my counter, and although it seems silly, one of my favorite features is that both ovens have a light in the back of them, so you can check on your food’s progress. It’s such a low-tech feature and you’d be annoyed if your full-sized oven bulb blew out, yet you’d think nothing of peering into a dark toaster oven and wondering if your breakfast is ready!
