Straightforward item that only Switch owners should find relevant to have. This replaced a joycon with a broken analog stick after three years of weekly use. These controllers have multiple functions, and one of them is allowing the portable use of a Switch. This versatile functionality is what gives them an edge over third-party products. The gyroscope or physical compatibility with certain games (Switch Sports and Just Dance) just cannot be matched. If those do not apply to you, I would recommend buying a cheaper and more standard shaped controller to avoid paying a premium for unnecessary additional features.

Connected right away and worked well with no problems

Worked perfect, had to replace original one because it opened up and had no contact so since switch was still in great shape and big investment, it was well worth it

I bought this product because my original red controller broke when i accidentally dropped my switch oled, the controller still worked but not to play on the switch. I got the single red controller because it was a cheaper alternative than buying the pair. Although i do regret not getting both controllers new it was a great buy

Excellent purchase! We’ve bought all the latest and greatest approved controllers for the switch. All have failed, stop working correctly. Two smaller boys use it so not surprising. However the original controllers last years longer and never have connectivity issues. So worth the extra $! I won’t be purchasing any more controllers not built by Nintendo. That’s my final two cents.

Great replacement for my son’s switch. It made his switch work like new!

My son dropped his switch in just the right way that it broke the R button. When I took it apart, I noticed the tiny button had broken clean off the PCB on the inside. There was no way I could fix this. Anyway, This replacement was perfect and I almost forgot that it's not the original.

This device works perfectly. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact I had to buy this because of the drift in the grey versions that came with our system and the kids needed something to use while those get repaired. It will be nice to have four joy-cons to use once the grey come back to us. As far as the general design, it's great for smaller hands, and I can make it work just fine. I generally use the controller dock if playing a one-player game. Great color, but I think Nintendo should have reduced their price on these given all of the drifting problems that they haven't remedied.

Exactly like the original except different color. Works well. Connects Well. I like some of the other colors but they were not is stock. We play switch so much that we wore out the original.
