Noi!se formed in Seattle, WA in the summer of 2009 and the chemistry was immediate as all band members had extremely varied influences but a common vision to make quality, melodic oi!/streetpunk that reflected the band's perspective of the world around them. This is a compilation of all previously vinyl-only releases by the band including the sold out debut, InchWalk Beside UsInch 7Inch EP, and the InchThis Is Who We AreInch 10Inch EP that have both sold 500+ units worldwide and are in their third and second pressings respectively. On and On is a full length collection of singles, B-sides, split 7Inch tracks, and a few completely unreleased songs! Longstanding streetpunk resolutes, Noi!Se are set to On and On, a full length collection of singles, B-sides, split 7Inch tracks, and a few completely unreleased songs, via Pirates Press Records, with whom the band share a long and productive history. On and On is a companion piece to the band's previous collection record, Pushing On, and like that album, it provides a bookend to a period in the band's career. This collection represents the final from the band's lineup featuring Nate, Jesse, Kenny, and Matt, clearing the vaults and providing a fresh start for the band's upcoming recordings with their new lineup. The songs collected here represent the output of individual writing and recording sessions over the course of four years. Noi!Se, as lead singer and primary songwriter Matt Henson puts it, Inchendeavor to use honest, anthemic music as a vehicle for social commentary.Inch Songs like InchMass Apathy,Inch written in response to America's school shooting epidemic, and InchPrice We Pay,Inch which focuses on the USA being the world leader in incarcerated persons, attempt to hold a mirror to society, all in an effort to solicit a thoughtful response from the listener. One song in particular was more personal to Henson than any other the band had previously recorded. InchLiamInch was written as a message directly from a father to a son, during a time when military deployment made it impossible to be certain the father would see his son grow. It was so raw and emotionally honest, Matt second guessed releasing it.
