I’ve been using the RTX 5070 Founders Edition for a while now, and honestly, this card exceeded my expectations. The design alone is stunning—clean, solid, and premium in a way only NVIDIA’s FE cards manage to pull off. The dual-axial cooler is surprisingly quiet, and the temperatures stay well under control even during long gaming sessions. Performance-wise, it’s incredible for the price. 1440p gaming is buttery smooth, and even 4K works great on many titles with DLSS 3.5. Frame pacing is stable, power efficiency is noticeably improved, and the card never feels like it’s struggling. It’s one of those GPUs that just delivers consistent performance without any drama. Another thing I love is the build quality. The FE feels dense, sturdy, and well-engineered—nothing cheap or flimsy. Cable management is easy with the compact size, and it fits into smaller cases without any clearance issues. Overall, the RTX 5070 Founders Edition is a fantastic card: quiet, efficient, beautifully built, and performs far better than I expected. If you want a reliable GPU with premium design and excellent thermals, this one is absolutely worth it.

Backstory: Upgrading from a 3080 FE to a 5070 FE is unthinkable, but I sold my 3080 FE to another FormD T1 owner with a "The Bro" discount/hookup, leaving me a net cost of about $200 for single player frame gen + 4 years of warranty (3 + 1 Visa). I took the bait and expected to pure mediocracy... This card blew my expectations out of the water. I only expected a 10-15% uplift, but with a pretty aggressive undervolt (935mv @ 3000 Mhz), those expectations were exceed while using around 170W on full load. Temps fight to get past 70C as well. 3Dmark and Heaven Benchmarks aren't church but theyre pretty consistent. I've attached those as well: Also, I've thrown in some size comparison pics for 3080 FE beside the 5070 FE in case anyone else needs those.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 Founder's Edition delivers exceptional 1440p and solid 4K gaming performance with impressive ray tracing and DLSS 4 support. Runs cool and quiet, though pricing feels steep for mid-tier. A future-ready choice for serious gamers.

I ignored the reviews by “professionals” that panned this GPU. It is much, much faster than my RTX 3070 Founders Edition, supports the latest performance technologies, runs cool and quiet without drawing gobs of power and breaking your budget. 12GB of video RAM is plenty for me as I game at 1440p. Let’s be honest, game developers are not going to abandon the millions of gamers with 8GB and 10GB GPUs anytime soon. Newest games, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, look fablous even when some of the advanced graphic features are turned off, and it plays great on this GPU.

Really good GPU for 1080 and 1440p gaming. Small form factor makes it easy to fit in a variety of cases. Temps are cool and noise is not noticeable when gaming.

Great all-aluminum construction with overall quiet fans. There's a bit of coil whine at high loads but completely manageable. I was able to undervolt it to 2850 MHz @ 900 mV & + 2000 MHz memory clock speed with no performance drop. Peak temp dropped from 72 to 64 C, power consumption from 220 to 150 W.

After six months of using the Radeon 7800 XT, I decided to upgrade. I initially tried it out because I was curious about AMD after being loyal to NVIDIA for the past five years. Before this, I had the 4070 Ti. Honestly, the Radeon 7800 XT is a solid card! I prefer its software over NVIDIA's, and it performs really well in rasterization. But when it comes to ray tracing (RT), it just doesn't hold up. I considered getting the Radeon 9070, but I couldn’t justify paying more for a Radeon card purely out of curiosity. In my experience, the 7800 XT's performance was comparable to the 4070 Ti for 1440p raster gaming. That said, I’m now gaming on the 5070 FE, and the difference is impressive. Playing Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, I get twice the frames and far better image quality compared to the 4070 Ti, thanks to features like DLSS4 and frame generation 4x. If you can snag a 5070 FE at MSRP, I highly recommend it. I was lucky enough to find one at a store 30 miles away. The round trip took an hour, but it was totally worth it. The card is well-built, compact, and looks great. The new packaging is also nice, though I miss the old HDMI and DVI dust caps for port protection. Right now, I’m running Cyberpunk 2077 with the RT Overdrive quick preset. I’ve set DLSS Super Resolution to "quality" and DLSS Sharpness to 1, which gives me anywhere from 120–180 FPS depending on the scene. The fans average around 50%, and the temperatures hover between 74–76°C, occasionally spiking to 78°C on both the memory and core. Overall, I’m really happy with the upgrade and absolutely recommend the 5070 FE over any other card at MSRP for 1440p gaming.

I picked up the GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition recently, and it's been nothing short of amazing. The build quality is absolutely top-tier—sleek, sturdy, and compact, making it perfect even for smaller cases. Performance-wise, it's a beast. It runs AAA titles like Doom: The Dark Ages in 4K effortlessly, delivering smooth frame rates and stunning visuals. Despite its size, it packs serious power. What really sets it apart is the price. Compared to other reference models from third-party vendors, the Founders Edition offers the best bang for your buck. If you're looking for high-end performance without breaking the bank, this is the card to get (well, hard to get too). Highly recommend!

5070 FE if you can find at MSRP is the best price to value card for 1440p gaming. Every game I have thrown at it the card was able to give excellent performance. The card looks incredible and has no coil whine. Runs extremely quiet as well.

Buy this card. This card at MSRP is the perfect upgrade from your 4060-4070 card. DlSS 4.0 is a gamechanger. The the multiframe generation paired with a g-sync monitor doesn’t give as much latency as one would think! Moving from a 4060 i got over double the performance. My games look and run great. Is this the most powerful card? No. Does it have it’s shortcomings? Yes. (Only 12gb of v-ram) but for right now in thebgaming world, youre at the sweet spot for decent looking games and decent frame rates. This card absolutly shines in 1440p gaming. You will not regret this purchase, in fact you’ll be thabking yourself that you did!

I really like the design and compact size of the Founders Edition. Based on the specs, RTX 5070 looks like a great balance between performance and efficiency, especially for 1440p gaming. The new GDDR7 memory and DLSS support make it very appealing for modern games and future-proofing a PC build. Definitely a GPU I’m excited about.

This is the first gaming PC I've built, and this product is really impressed me. It runs everything at maximum settings, with frame rates ranging from 60 to 200 FPS depending on the game (in 2k resolution). In my tests, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II reached around 140 FPS, and Resident Evil Requiem averaged about 100 FPS. In other words, I'm extremely satisfied. The build quality is excellent — the all-metal construction gives it a premium feel. So far, I honestly have no cons to mention about this product.

If you can get one, do. I have loved this thing. Absolutely easy to install and use. I generally don’t play insanely demanding games, but I did play warhammer space marine 2 with 400 fps with the vram on. It’s insane what it’s capable of, and honestly super quiet compared to the 2060 super I had before!

I was hesitant to buy this card because of all the negative reviews it’s got. It seems most of the criticism comes from pc junkies who upgrade to the best and newest components with every release, and then project their criticism on the internet for views and $. However, there are some of us, like myself, who’ve sat on a 3060ti for years, and finally pulled the trigger on a relatively affordable card. I can’t emphasize how happy I am to have finally done it. 1440p gaming is no issue for this thing. I seriously have not run into any hiccups or downfalls. I will not be projecting the hyperanalyzed data this card outputs, however, I’ll give my honest feedback on my experience. Every thing I’ve thrown at it runs silky smooth - DLSS 4 on supported titles is unmatched; delivering seemless gameplay all around. Sure, NVIDIA should include more VRAM to justify the price, but it seems like they’re compensating with the AI frame gen and improvements to DLSS - which I’m totally pleased with. I haven’t had too much of an experience in VR with this card, as Meta hasn’t included the 50 series gpu’s in their recommended specs listing yet. But everything I’ve played so far, is nothing short of pure fun. Totally worth it! If you’re like me, sitting on a 5-6 year old card, and looking for a great performing upgrade without dropping $1k+ on something that’ll be rendered obsolete in a couple of years, then just pill the trigger on this one already. You won’t be disappointed!

Before I bought this I heard lots of people complaining about this card and its lack of vram. However after using it for about a month, it has been a fantastic gpu. The 12gb of vram is not an issue as the highest I have seen to be is 10gb used on ultra settings with rt on in 1440p. the card runs cool and looks awesome. So worth it esspecially at msrp.

I got this GPU for my racing sim and it has been great! I run triple 32” monitors and every sim is maxed on graphics, so that should tell you this is a great deal for $549. I have this in a small form factor case and the temps are actually pretty good!

Great graphics card, not only does it have top tier performance, but the additional dlss and ray tracing capabilities easily make this a 10/10 card for its price tag

The design is incredible and it gets amazing performance for being so compact. It's perfect for ITX and MATX builder's who are looking for a compact but powerful build. The cooling isn't as good as I'd like to see for a high end card but even with that not so bad flaw the card itself is still amazing.

First time experiencing the FE RTX card from Nvidia, oh man!! the build quality of these cards are amazing and very compact!!! And the overall gameplay experience was smooth and good temperature control in 1440p gaming (never been more than 50oF).

This card runs great. Coming from a 2080 TI, my computer was struggling to hit 144 fps at 3840x1600. I hit 200+ fps on everything I play and it never gets over mid 50'c under full load. 10/10 Note: My box was opened by the store because they "thought it was the packaging box" which was annoying but I wasn't going to wait another two weeks for a new card to come in.
