Q: Is the lens glass or plastic?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes LED (Light Emitting Diodes) are built into the head of a lamp, however typically if an LED lamp stops working it would just be simply a replacement adapter (cord) issue, as the adapter is the driver that drives the LEDs to illuminate. Ottlite does not recommend plugging LED lamps/fixtures into extension cords or power strips unless they are rated heavy gauge, or the Ottlite lamp is the only item plugged into those apparatuses as that could compromise the adapter. Q: Is the bulb replaceable & if so, where can you purchase a bulb

Q: is this powered by AC or DC
A: It's ac powered from a DC converter. But from the look at my adapter it's a non standard DC voltage. (13.2 or something)
