Functional and simple. I keep this in the center console of my car when I need to write something briefly rather than using sticky notes. The index cards are perforated so they can be easily removed from the stack, which is convenient rather than having a stack of individual index cards in the car. They have the same thickness as a regular index cards; the lines better align with college ruled spacing.
