Worked fine, used it to connect to the back USB port of my car stereo. I completely tore out my car’s existing cigarette lighter port and replaced it with this. The only issue I had was that it was too small to fit the cigarette port’s hole so I put it in the included dash mount and superglued the dash mount to the cigarette lighter opening. I’m happy with my purchase.

Just a simple wire connection, but it came in clutch when I needed it

Purchased this USB cable to instal an external CD player in my 2023 4Runner’s center console since new cars don’t include a CD player anymore. There is one USB connection to the Infotainment Unit that allows a connected device be utilized by the vehicle. This cable allowed me to hide the long cord under the interior plastics and make a professional looking installation. I’m old school with my music and still enjoy listening to CDs in my car. So this cable helped me do this and not negatively affect the look of my SUV’s interior.

I’m giving this a five star because it did everything it said it was going to do. That said, I didn’t end up using it. I found a similar device that fit in the hole left after I removed the cigarette lighter from my dash board, which provides a cleaner look than this was going to give me. I did plug it in to my head unit and was able to connect my phone to use with car play, so I can say that it works as advertised. If you need a usb extension with an easy sticker dash mount, this is a good one.

The cabel is very sturdy. It is a very good cable. I use it as an extension cable not mount in the car. It is not much use in a car as most new car uses usb C now.
I recently purchased a new Alpine ILX-W650 radio for my 2002 Honda Accord. The Geek Squad technician recommended this item to complete the installation. The radio works great, and it looks fabulous in the car. I absolutely love it!!

We bought a GPS and installed at the St. Peter’s Mo. store and are very happy with how easy it is to navigate/operate. The Evan the installer did a very professional job and took the time to explain all the features and how to use it. And installation took exactly the time he told us it would. We are very happy with the unit and the installation of it.

This makes for a very clean installation of the USB port for the radio. It deletes a cigarette port but the installation is really a clean look. It can also be mounted in a hole drilled into the face of the dash, but I don't know if this would be a part of a regular installation service.

Great addition to a new stereo that I purchased a few months ago. Instead of running the usb extension cord that came with the radio I decided to mount a dedicated usb connector for a more professional look. I mounted this in my Tacoma and it looks and operates flawlessly. The cord is heavy duty so plan your cord routing prior to installation. I liked this adapter so much I bought 2 more!

I replaced my car stereo and 4 speakers. The Kenwood stereo had everything on my wish list, BUT a USB port on the front of the unit. The sales rep recommended this adapter. I wasn't sure about having it installed in glove box, or "hard" mounted under the dash. Then I read one of the Best Buy reviews, and realized it fits the mounting hole were the cig lighter is. Since my Jeep has 2 cig adapter plugs, removed one, and replaced it with this USB adapter. The adapter is just a LITTLE smaller than the mounting hole, so I used Krazy Glue to keep it tight. Looks like it was Factory Installed.

We had this installed while replacing a receiver in a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited. It works perfect and look like a OEM install. We did not use the little block it comes with. Just the cord. It fits in the same hole as a cigarette lighter although we did not do that.

Purchased this to replace the cigarette lighter in my old Maxima and it worked like a charm! I now have a USB socket powered by an aftermarket radio to charge my phone and it looks completely factory for a ridiculously low price. :)

This worked very nicely to attach to my Kenwood and then mount on my console to give it an almost factory look. I ran the cable from my stereo connection down the inside of my center console in the dash and drilled a hole to install. Looks and works great.

Used this to replace the cigarette lighter outlet in my 2015 Silverado. I installed a aftermarket radio and needed a place to hook my phone up to the radio for CarPlay. I unplugged the cigarette lighter outlet and took it out of the dash. This plug fit great in the existing hole. I hot glued the socket on the back of the hole so the plug would not move. Plugged the male end into the usb that was coming out of the radio and my phones lightning cable into the femal part of this plug. CarPlay works great with no issues.

This was. A perfect add in to when I got my head unit installed. No more cigarette lighter USB adapter. This looks clean in the car. Highly recommend getting it installed.

Installer connected this to rear USB on the new Kenwood radio. and mounted it on lower dash. This nakes a convenient place to charge my phone or tablet without using the USB in front panel of radio

Nothing worse than wires sticking out of the dash all over the place. Installer suggested this when I said I wanted it to look clean, and boy does it ever! Looks just like it would have from the factory!

Wanted to have an integrated USB port to the new stereo. This, combined with the correct piece for the car, worked perfectly. Long enough to get back to the head unit.
