This camera is absolutely insane for the price. The image quality is right there with the S5II, but what really makes it better for me is the size. Throw a small lens on it and I almost want to put it in my pocket. It’s that convenient. I’ve grown two companies using this camera as my main tool for filming marketing content, professional video shoots, and photoshoots. It just works, and it delivers every time. The 20–60mm kit lens is also a sleeper beast. I own several other lenses now, but when I don’t know what I’m walking into, nothing beats having that range ready. It’s sharp, fast, and proves that kit lenses are no longer something you need to rush to upgrade from. Menus are easy to understand, and OPEN GATE is the real magic here. Open gate at this price point is wild. Shoot once and you’ve got every aspect ratio covered. Social, YouTube, anything. This camera punches way above its weight.

Love this camera from Panasonic. The real time LUTS are amazing and i don’t have to use Lightroom anymore. The full frame sensor gives amazing depth. I also got the LUMIX S 1.8 primes and they are perfect with this camera. It’s so lightweight. I’m using it for photos and videos and its so easy to share to social media. I wasn’t interested in this S9 initially but decided to give it a go. I don’t regret getting it at all.

Iam really enjoying the LUMIX s-9. It’s my first camera, and everything works perfectly. The picture quality is amazing! I also really like the app that connects quickly. The only issue I have is the lack of a flask and view finder.

For some strange reason… I really like this camera. Expensive … but I purchased it at a good open box price… for what it is. Wish it had a hot shoe for example. That being said it is fun light and easy to use and takes great pictures. Love the Leica Black and White sim and luts. Still needs a good small full frame lens to go with it … I still really like it.

Just picked up the Lumix S9 and I’m honestly loving it so far. Super compact and lightweight, which makes it perfect for travel or just tossing in a bag for a day out. The image quality is amazing—sharp details, great colors, and it handles low light way better than I expected for its size.

S9 is one of the smallest full frame mirrorless cameras available. Great list of features including open-gate video, dynamic LUT, IBIS, fast and accurate auto-focus. This is my favorite mirrorless camera to date because I can take it anywhere. Bought 3 lenses - 35mm f1.8 (great for low light), 28-200mm telephoto (coupled with hybrid zoom gives you over 600mm of reach!) & 18-40mm retractable (most portable - best to bring on vacation).

Paid for a new camera, but the camera was obviously opened and used before it was shipped to me. It was dirty and protective sleeves were missing. Best buy would not do anything to help. I've paid for open box items and had good luck with them. I did not buy this as an open box though. The camera itself works well and is much better than expected from reviews I've read and seen online. It does what is advertised to do. Great quality pictures at an affordable price. Yes, we all know by now it has no EVF, mechanical shutter or hot shoe, but honestly Lumix never tried to sell us this camera as a professional one with everything we need. It's a light and fun camera. I don't understand the hate for it. So many others are missing what the S9 is missing, but yet they cost twice as much and people don't complain about them as much as they have about the S9. If you don't see yourself using it, then don't buy it. Simple as that. No need to spread your hate for it. It's an awesome EDC if you pair it with a smaller lens.

Great camera for amateurs and hobbyists. Planning taking this on trip and making memories. Camera takes brilliant pictures still, wanna get into some videography aside from still pics seems to be a choice with all it has to offer just some drawbacks such as a mechanical shutter and a evf aside from that its pretty awesome.

The camera is very good to shoot at night, especially with the Lumix original S series 50mm lens. The original 18-40mm is portable and good for travel and video. I don't think the cold shoe is an issue here, since I need to use separate lights for portraits anyway.

A full frame camera at this size and price point is incredible. This camera is super fun and easy to use. It’s so much more portable than my Canon DSLR, so I have a feeling I’ll find myself reaching for it often. I do wish it had an EVF, but it isn’t a deal breaker considering how much camera you’re getting for the price. The kit lens is nice for a kit lens. I got the 20-60 zoom lens, so it covers a nice focal length range. I also picked up a 50mm and the 100mm macro and I’m sure I’ll be using both of those more often, but the kit lens is nice and sharp. The IBIS in this camera works great and the built in LUTS are game changing.

Using the Lumix S9 feels like the camera just gets me. From the moment I picked it up, the layout made sense — no digging through menus or guessing what button does what. Switching between photo and video is seamless, and the compact body means I can take it everywhere without the bulk. It’s fast, responsive, and the image quality is stunning. For someone who creates on the go, it’s not just a tool — it’s part of the flow.

Amazing Full Frame camera. Great entry level and I love the option to take pictures with built in filters (Lux).

I really enjoy my Lumix S9. I was able to get it open box which was overall well kept. I also bought the warranty. The picture quality is excellent. There is some limitations in distance photos, but perhaps a different lens will be better equipped.

This camera is all you need seriously whether you're on the go or taking professional photos this is definitely hands down the best camera I am so pleased with the quality everything about it is awesome from photos to videos this camera is the Best!!!!

There are other cameras that are complex, but this one feels like a good starter camera. It’s good quality.
