Humor Risk was recorded in various homes and studios across America and was produced by Cass and Ariel Rechtshaid. Humor Risk is perhaps Cass' most upbeat album yet, showing Cass in a more optimistic mood, and could be seen as the happier, more hopeful sister record to Wit's End. The lyrics are as interesting and wry as ever, the arrangements as beautiful as those on it's predecessors, but here Cass' vocals are higher, the rhythm faster and the melodies more infectious than ever before. Humor Risk portrays yet another facade of this versatile, incredibly talented and much underrated artist. Album Tracks 1. Love Thine Enemy 2. The Living Word 3. The Same Thing 4. To Every Man His Chimera 5. Robin Egg Blue 6. Mystery Mail 7. Meet Me at the Mannequin Gallery 8. Mariah

On their second full-length for Jagjaguwar, Minus Story's heavenly racket shuffles, flutters, crashes, and bangs. Their reedy artistic voice nears multi-octave range. They're influenced musically by the solo work of John Frusciante, the tenderness of Bjork, the melodic interplay of Television, and the directness of late period Tom Waits. They're influenced conceptually by the brutality of Jerzy Kosinski's InchThe Painted BirdInch, the ambivalent authoritarianism critique of Jason Lips (the provider of the cartoon drawings for the album art), and most of all by the idea of the invisible enemy and the erosion of the soul by unknown outside forces. Album Tracks 1. I Was Hit 2. Knocking on Your Head 3. Ringing in the Dark 4. Hold on 5. Little Wet Head 6. Waking Up 7. Will I Be Fighting? 8. There Is a Light 9. To the Ones You Haunted 10. In Our Hands

Wide Open Space Retold 8. Dark Mavis Retold 9. Comes As No Surprise Retold 10. Mansun's Only Love Song Retold 11. When the Wind Blows Retold
