To be fair, I am a Philips employee (not lighting department). I have always loved the Philips hue lights. They are the best at replicating the warm incandescent bulb lighting. This bulb looks exactly like an Edison bulb and is perfect for vintage/antique lamps. Another plus is this bulb works over wifi and a Philips Hue is not required. The only con is the price is higher than knock-off brands. But, you get what you pay for. This is a high quality & easy to set up light.

Love these warm lights in the bedrooms. I use to come home to a dark house during winter, since it would get so dark so early. I hated to waste the electricity by leaving a light on all day just to come home to a lit up house. I bought these instead of investing in timers (like for Christmas lights) and these were the best decision I made. I have them all throughout my house now. You can pick the lighting shade, if you want it dim or bright, you don't need to install dimmer switches. Different light bulbs are available, sizes, shapes, indoor, outdoor and colors. My mom has these outside and changes each bulb to a different color and then repeats the pattern during different holidays for more lighting effects. It can all be controlled through the Phillips Hues app or now control it with Alexa or Google Nest. Now when I come home my house is lit up, I can change the vacation mode to randomize the lights to come on and off so it looks like someone is home. Ditch the timers and get these! I have a setting that is "movie mode" this this dims the 4 bulbs I have in the room the ones over the tv go off and the ones behind me dim so its not pitch black and can get up without tripping, but doesn't reflect off the TV!! So much you can do with them. I also use the smartplugs for Scentsy, fish tank lights, and holiday lights now too! They have the timer features and connect for randomization as well.

The fact that I spend more than $1 on a light bulb makes me realize why I can’t afford that trip to Bali that I’ve been wanting to take for years. But I’m lazy and the kid doesn’t ever turn the lights off in his bathroom, so now I don’t have to walk downstairs to do it myself. And it’s that instant gratification that supersedes the desire to sip alcoholic beverages on what right now is just an imaginary place in my mind. Maybe if I ever actually do go to Bali, I would never buy another $27 light bulb because I’d be chasing that tropical high.

Great light, and ads the antique flair. Integrates with your existing hue system. Great addition for a light fixture where you’d like to see an Edison bulb.

This "Edison" Style filament lamp (don't call them bulbs) combine the proven greatness of the Philips Hue platform with new decorative stylings in the exposed "Edison" filament tradition. These Hue lamps don't generate the heat that my previous LED filament lamps did, so that is a great plus. Also, the light from these lamps does have a very warm spectrum, but doesn't suffer from the overly yellow characteristics of the LED filament lamps that they replaced. The Hue system offers great functionality across the range of Smart Home platforms. The price is a little high, but this is a great option if you need an architectural-style Smart lamp.

This is a great looking bulb for that all time classic look. It’s a shame that these bulbs cost so much though.

This light was PERFECT for our front door light fixture. This light offers the perfect amount of light with a very attractive open filament look. Very pleased. The outside performance was a concern but its been great without any problems.

We have these all over the house & outside on the porch & garage. They turn on in the morning for us to leave for work then turn off after we leave & come on at night & turn off again when we have it set to. They work great.

A fine bulb...but the illumination was much more amber than bright...so, it didn't work for the room in the end and we returned them. However, the rest of the experience was typical of the Hue products: easy to install and functions flawlessly.

These were a logical addition to my Hue setup. I am using them outside and they seem to be working just fine (I'm in Wisconsin). Adding them to my Hue app was very easy. The light they emit was a little warmer/more yellow/orange than I expected but it is tolerable. The "White" on the package may be a bit misleading.

I love the old vintage filament look. I have these hooked up with the Philips Hub. I have them turn on/off at sunset, sunrise. Love the ability to set how bright or dim. Can't think of any cons.

I bough these for my entryway lamps. They're glass globes that called for Edison style bulbs but I wanted the functionality of Philips Hue bulbs. This fit the ticket nicely.

I purchased this bulb to replace an Edison-style incandescent bulb that I had in a vintage-style lamp. This bulb looks great in the lamp and ties in with my Hue system perfectly.

Hue technology + the filament look is a great combo. Wish I got the white ambiance version over this but something to learn from.

I'm giving this light bulb a good review since the filament is so thick that It's brighter than normal. It does dim down though but not dim enough for my liking. I'm using it as a night light.

Good classic Edison bulb. It's far too bright on 100 percent setting, so I always keep it between 25 percent and 50 percent. Gives a nice, warm light.
