As seen in the picture of this item digital HD is included. However I was a little concerned when the package arrived and nowhere on the case did it indicate a digital code was included. I was hesitant, but opened the shrink wrap happy to find the digital code was included. The expiration date was December 2018, however, I had no issues redeeming the code today, March 13, 2020. Pixels is a must have for any arcade enthusiast!

I enjoyed this movie. Brought me back to my childhood of growing up playing Atari. The movie was a lot of fun and nostalgic for me. I'm not a Sandler fan, so getting past him, the movie was great. The rest of the cast more than made up for Sandler's dry monotonous personality. Seeing all those old Atari games brought to life on the big screen, just gave me chills of excitement, bringing back memories of fun in the 80's. It was just pure fun with laughs.

Very funny, Adam Sandler back to his old ways. He hasn't been hitting them all out of the park lately but this is well worth buying. This is great to relive your haydays at the arcade. Great film funny cast. Worth every penny

Great movie, and lots of fun. My poor review is for Best Buy. The Best Buy description specifically said "Blu-Ray + DVD," when the packaging only specified Blu-Ray. I asked an employee at the store because I would prefer both (we have a DVD player in our truck, but Blu-Ray elsewhere), and he assured me that both were included. Needless to say, they weren't. Next purchase - Amazon.

As a semi-homage to the early 1980's late-20th century-era videogame arcade culture scene(I recall, as a juvenile n00b of the said era), PIXELS excels at delivering special FX that make the various IP characters CGI shine, imo. Whilst the storyline-themes can become a bit 'played out' minutely at times, the movie is generally slightly above average for it's original approach as an entertaining VIDEOGAME CHARACTER-BASED MOVIE.... which is a pleasant surprise to peruse and enjoy, on account of some earlier 'unmentionable' videogame-based theatrical attempts failing miserably(and ruining the comeback attempts of certain olde Hollywood actors, such as Chris... okay I better stop here, or else I'll be alone in the dark with a potential lawsuit for honest slander). Albeit, I must opine that Adam Sandler's former SNL alumni experience/career and subsequent movie performances have kept him fresh and just as awesome in PIXELS. PIXELS is certainly not a relevant movie for everyone, yet for the MILLIONS of Gamers, such as myself, the movie PIXELS is a FANtastic videogame-centric film with original CG & Human-actor characters that appeals mainly to the gaming masses, both past and present. Or, at least the majority of Gamers thereof. A VERY decent amount of mixed live-action and comedic scripting abound within this videogame-based movie that I am biased in rating as "slightly above average".... because really, how often are the videogaming masses treated to competently infused and grandiose videogame-character based films? Not quite often, I say. The talented amalgamation of creators absolutely got the formula correct with PIXELS. The inner-juvenile of most any American over the age of 30 could appreciate the fan-service and entertainment that PIXELS affords it's main audience, which is US, the original Gamers who came of age during the classic arcade scene of the 1980's & 90's videogame eras, when evolved videogame characters in original PIXELated form mostly ruled the arcades by aggressive Arcade-Token absorption tactics(profit), and via the subsequent retail console conversions. Thanx for the memories, PIXELS. Also:The Best Buy-exclusive 'Metal-Pak' version of PIXELS is quite an attractive purchase, and worth positioning amongst a respectable shelf collection if only for the metallic reflections of colorful aesthetic-art that adorns the front and back sides of the packaging veneer. A beautiful form of 'videogame art' to occasionally gaze and reflect upon. The generous amount of inclusive BD-ROM bonus features and 'other app' offers are a fine compliment to the main feature as well. Either Sony or BB delivered and satisfied demand for exclusive 'Metal-Paks' this time, as normally the other commonly known exclusive "SteelBooks" of much anticipated movie releases fail to remain in-stock for more than 20 minutes at retail and online enviroments(Ex;BB-exclusive Mad Max:Fury Road SteelBook... a gorgeously tragic example of underestimating retail demand, and therefore subsequently losing further potential profit gains because, quote: "I don't see why we should stock anymore than 20 Mad-Max exclusive SteelBooks per store, because it won't sell through anyway according to my highly accurate estimates" said some High-Lord-Genius decision-maker for Best Buy corporate. As for PIXELS though, a wise decision indeed, this time around, to avail a 'realistic' supply of BB-exclusive MetalPaks! Thanx for(potentially)perusing through my signature PIXELS Review for BestBuy.com, fellow Lady-Gamers & Gents. :v~!!

This was fantastic. I watched it 3 times in a row right after I tore off the wrapper. I'm glad I invested in the 3D version. Zero regrets.

"We're the only ones who can do this! I'm kidding, we're all gonna die." Sam Brenner (Sandler) is one of the greatest video gamers in 1982. After making the finals in the championships he is devastated when he comes in second. For prosperity purposes the video tape of the contest is shot into space. 33 years later he is working as an electronics installer when he gets a call from his childhood friend, President Cooper (James) telling him that the Earth is under attack...by video games. Now it is up to Sam along with other gamers from 1982 to save the world. This is a movie I was not sure what to expect. To me, Sandler is either very funny (Happy Gilmore) or unwatchable (Jack & Jill), and I thought this one could go either way. I was actually leaning toward the latter but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised and I laughed a lot throughout. The movie is really nothing amazing but what it is is very entertaining and a decent family movie. Growing up in the 80's I loved seeing all the old video game characters again and I have to admit that Q-Bert stole the movie. This is a very Sandler type movie and is not worth all the bad press it was getting. Overall, much much better than I was expecting and I surprisingly enjoyed this as did my family. I surprisingly give this a B+.

It was fun to watch this movie which featured the original games. I thought it was well done with excitement and good, rather than slapstick, humor.
