Everyone rating this product poorly due to the battery “going out” needs to read the instruction booklet. It tells you that if you’re going to use the light with the power cord (instead of “wireless”), you should take the battery out while you use it that way. Either use the light with power cord but no battery in it, or charge the battery and use it on battery power only. Basically don’t have both the charger cable and battery in at the same time you’re using the light. That’s why it comes with a dedicated battery charging dock.

This LED video light is awesome. I have four of them one mounts on top of my Sony 4k camera. I have two angled towards me or on the subject and then one that points towards the background to take away any Shadows.you can check out some of my videos on .........How To W/Paul Henderson...... these lights are awesome, they really make the colors pop and they don't get hot like the Barn Door Style bulb type ones plus you can use a battery or plug it directly into the wall

This light is amazing. It's bright, can change temperature and it's remote controllable. I use this light as a flashlight sometimes to fix my pc and as a main light sometimes when I'm reading. It's rechargable and just an awesome light. Worth every dollar.

I needed a constant light source for indoor photography and occasional video shooting. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with this light and I couldn't be happier. The light is just right for my purposes - not too much or not too little. I like the fact that you can either plug it using included power adapter or use battery to power it if no power source is nearby. Comes included with all the right accessories to help mount it on the stand, on the camera hotshoe or handheld. Many reviewers have stated that the battery dies quite quickly so I will post an update if this happens to me. For now, I have only had the light for a few weeks and no issues so far.

The remote function is v useful, and the unit is more powerful than expected. Battery charge is okay, but it would be nice to have a second for backup. Battery does not charge on unit when plugged into ac power. It also doesn't get quite as warm (color temp) as I would like, but in all its a great little lamp.

Kelvin and power control . A remote . Rechargeable battery. All for under $200 can't beat that . I wish it came with different diffuser Panels because I haven't been able to find any that slide in like the frosted one that comes with it.

There is many features of this light that I have not used but I find that it works for getting necessary amount of light from 10 to15 feet. The ability to change the K output of the light for doing close ups is a bonus, and at first having the remote was kind of a bother and then I started using it and now I know why it comes with that remote, IT IS HANDY. I use this light in a bar setting with minimal light and it works well. The only down side is the lack of wide angle light vs an almost spot light from the LED's which are getting better. This light is not perfect but it is hands down better than the bar lighting that I was using. This has become a handy light for a number of situations, from the videos that I take to working on my desktop computer. The feature that I really like is the fact that it will fit on my flash mount and also mount is on a tripod which is my favorite way to mount and use it.

Powerful adjusting Bright light it can be use mounted on the video camera or on the tripod with remote to turn on and off. Will not work as a flash

I love the lights for the price, esp, the ability to change color temperature and intensity of the light. I think at his highest intensity my meter read 354 lux. Not sure how well the light will light larger scenes because I have not so tried. Also my color meter reads the color temps to be slightly different than the lights themselves say they are set at. All in all for the price it's awesome.

I needed some better lighting for YouTube videos. These LED lights work great. Variable color temperature, dimmable and plenty of light. I don't know the output of these but it's plenty for what I'm using them for. You can control the output and the color temp from the handy remote. Awesome lights!

A carry all easy to use light for photography and filming. Easy to use and carry.

ONLY 4 STARS DUE TO PLASTIC SHOE MOUNT. The light is great!! Arrived partially pre charged and is included with a wall charger and a charger plugs directly to the light in the back for direct power. The controls are easy to operate and allows for easy use for beginners. The shoe mount for the camera is plastic and the light can be top heavy causing a lot of strain on the plastic mount. Would be an incredible light if the mount was metal. Not sure why a light of this value is mounted with a plastic mount. Overall a good investment for low light video shooting. Also works good for taking pictures in low light. The power button can also be accidentally turned on when stored in your bag as it is not a switch, but a single press button. This issue is avoided by storing it with the battery disconnected. The light was noticed to be extremely painful on peoples eyes during shooting, and a diffuser would be solve this, but is not included. Would be 5 stars if it had a metal shoe mount, power switch over a button, and overall less cheap plastic. Overall, unit is over valued by Best Buy, but is a good investment for the consumer for moderate usage.

I love the amount of light this video light produces. I would highly recommend this to a friend. Best Buy always has the equipment I need at a reasonable price

This is an amazing and cheap light for indoor, studio and even nighttime lighting when shooting video or photos. Easily mounts and the remote is a great touch.

I shoot photography and video professionally, and I grabbed this light mainly because it did not cost much and I could use a camera top mounted light. It's quite a powerful little light, and with 3 of them, you could easily set up a 3 point lighting situation. It comes with different handles and fasteners so you can go camera mount, pole mount, or even hand held with a handle. The color temperature is changeable and you can dial up and down the intensity. I was surprised by this light and would recommend it as a fantastic budget option.

Very handy at what I need. The light is perfect but the battery is not reliable. You will need backup battery.

Purchased this light to add some fill to my video shooting. Very handy light; easy to use and provides a wide array of light levels from a variety of mounts (included). Charge lasts almost forever, making remote locations easy to shoot.

I purchased this led light to use with my flash for on the go photo shoots. This led video light feels strong, not cheap and flimsy. Comes with a remote that is very useful. If used correctly along with a flash you can create lighting that can be compared to a 10 grand setup.

My first one just stopped working. Took it back a week later and they swapped it out for a second. A few months later the battery crapped out which may have been the issue with the first one as I got another light that has the same battery and it works. Now that it’s working, I love it and great for filler and hair light situations along with just simply adding light to an area.

The mounting options for this light are a bit limited; it does not fit all professional camera hot shoe mount. Great adjustability for brightness and color temperature.
