Still a great game!! Takes me back when I was a young.

The red version is a great game. It is simple and retro.

This is one of the pokemon games I grew up with, and plays as such, missing the quality of life improvements like the physical special splits but does have some difficulty at the start if you pick Charmander, some difficulty mid game with Squirtle, and some difficulty late if you pick Bulbasaur

A blast from the past!! Just as fun playing Red on the gameboy but now on switch..

One of the best games I have ever played and brings back my childhood.

My 8 year old son loves this game and it seems to suit his playability well. I had to pair it up with the leaf edition just to keep the enjoyment rolling when he gets through fire.

Easy to install from the Nintendo eshop. After purchase the code goes to your email, and is on the receipt. A couple minutes and you're good to go. Love this game for nostalgia mainly.

It's the same game from 2004 with some filter updates for Player names. They updated it to include event exclusive items once you beat the Elite 4 to encounter special pokemon. It made me respect what the older Pokemon games had and worked with and what they turned into with new titles.

A STEAL for Pokémon lovers! I brought for my wife and she hasn’t put it down since. Same as the game boy advance game but obviously with better graphics. Same story. Same characters and same Pokémon. Perfect for a dose of nostalgia!
