So recently I been trying to figure out what types of pokemon cards I should get. I was planning on getting 2 Pokemon Celebrations box but then I saw this Brilliant Stars elite trainer box, so I got it. While waiting impatiently I started to slowly regret getting this box and felt like I should of got the Celebrations, but it turns out it was worth it. Always go with your guts!

Very first pack my son opened pulled a Vstar Charizard. We bought 5 additional packa and he pulled another in one of those packs. Needless to say, I will be buying a lotto ticket or 2 today with this luck.

Highly recommend picking up. Great pull rates! Hit Rate Chance of opening at least 1 Trainer Gallery, Ultra Rare. or Secret Rare is 44%! Better than any other ETB I've opened! The yellow border cards are called Trainer Gallery cards! It's not a printing mistake. Best of luck!

Cool cards, great pulls. I say go for it with this set since rare is not all that rare in this set.

My pulls weren’t that great. We all know the gamble of tcgs, so I won’t give this etb a 1 star only because I got bad pulls. The card sleeves feel more premium than others.

I love the new set but with this box you won’t really get much, you’re better off paying a extra $20-$30 for the better ones.

I notice that my box was resealed and damage at the side and corners, but opening the box the cardboard where it was holding the cards under it seems was damage someone was trying to pull the cards out, but the Pokémon packs I got nothing but worst cards ever only two good one a gold ultra ball and a reverse Holo and this card which I don’t know if it’s good or bad. This Vstar card came out of one of the packs no holo nothing good only regular cards and that’s it.

I bought 2 ETBs one of the boxes had a few dents in them. Both boxes had packs, that had alot of air in them and was way to easy to open. From 16 packs all i had gotten was a Trainers Card the rest was all holo/ reverse holo
Great cards for a good price! Fun for a collection and value for the cards themselves! Great pulls as well!

This set has some great new style of cards: the V Star and Trainer Gallery, along with some beautiful alternate art cards and 5 different Charizard Cards. Eveelutions are back, there are some awesome full arts (already pulled myself the Raichu!), and it's just a fun set to open! I give a 3 star for value since ETBs come out to about $5 per pack, which might be fine if you like having all the extra stuff an ETB comes with, but if you are just looking for packs then buying single packs and booster boxes give you much more bang for your buck. I think Pokemon finally learned that the atrocious pull rates we've seen with all the other Sword and Shield sets was making people angry to the point that many of us severely limited the amount of packs we would open. It shouldn't take 3,000+ booster packs to pull a master set, but with Fusion Strike, Evolving Skies, Chilling Reign, etc., that's what it took. Data is already coming in that shows the pull rates of Brilliant Stars is about 3-4 times better than all of the other Sword and Shield era sets. Yes, the cards may not have as much value since the pull rates are much better, but it makes opening pack after pack after pack much more fun again! Below is an image of my bigger pulls from 1 booster box + 1 Elite Trainer box.

I purchased this elite trainer box when this expansion first came out in early March. Was happy to see that the box didn't sell out instantly or that it seemed like Best Buy had enough supply vs months prior with any Pokemon TCG product. The expansion was fun to open an arguably one of the more aesthetically pleasing boxes with the white and gold. You can find pull rates online, but I did get some nice trainer art and full art cards from the packs. Overall I know what I'm getting when buying any Pokemong TCG so the purchasing, and opening experience made it worthwhile. My product came in new condition as described with no issues with the seal or shipping box.
