Yeah. I felt gross typing out that title. Anyway, this is a nice 4k transfer of a spooky classic. They moved the cemetery but left the bodies! Oops. Forget I said that last bit.

Awesome 4K Resolution. Very clear! A big Improvement over 1080p! I would recommend this, if you have a 4k Blu Ray Player, and a 4k TV.

Great 4K transfer of an 80s horror classic. Sequels and remakes tried to recapture the magic and they all failed MISERABLY

From the first time I saw this movie it became an instant classic, neighborhood family has they’re world turned upside down, great story, awesome graphics and superb acting, now on 4k blu ray, the video is flawless, my only regret is that they should have done the audio in Dolby Atmos instead of DTS master audio, but looking at the details I couldn’t see with previous releases is more that satisfying !!

The Original Poltergeist is an Iconic Timeless Classic. A Supernatural Haunted House Movie Expertly directed by Steven Spielberg, it has Thrills and Horror aspects that Still Hold Today. The 4k Restoration is Flawless and Reference Quality with Deep Blacks and Colors that Explode and Pop off of the Screen... This is definitely a Must Have for Fans of Movies that are Just Plain "Great"

Our family has been trying to watch a horror movie a day for October which has been a bit of a challenge due to their age and temperament. However, all of them enjoyed Poltergeist. If looks great in 4k, but if you haven’t seen it in while there is a lot bright strobing effects. If you, or your family, is sensitive to intense strobing effects this is not a movie for you.

This movie scared me as kid back then . Now own it on dvd n Blu-ray but not anymore since i got it on 4k amd it better version like theater quality in every way. If u never seen this it a must it a horrir movie and one of the best ghost movies of its kind not much horror films about ghost u will find but glad they made poiltergeist

A horror classic gets a much-needed and appreciated 4K UHD upgrade. The picture is gorgeous and comes from a fresh scan of the original 35mm negatives. The definition and clarity is second to none and the addition of HDR only enhances the picture. We've got of course a 4K Blu-ray as well as a regular Blu-ray and a Digital Code that grants access to the 4K version for use on the go, which is nice. Unfortunately there is nothing new in the extras department, which is a disappointment. If you've owned ay previous versions of the film then you have the Blu-ray extras already. Otherwise this is a stellar release.

A classic movie that's never looked better than it does in this 4K presentation. It's hard to believe this movie was released in 1982 due to the stellar picture quality and sound. This is the definitive version, for sure!
