A: If I remember correctly you hold the middle button for a few seconds until the light flashes. Then press the button you want to use on the back and then press which back button to map it to.
Q: Is it small enough to fit in the hands of a 5 years old ? My ps5 controllers are to big
A: Might be to big for him as well, but the buttons are alot closer on the nintendo controller. My son is 6 and he was able to use i. Hope i helped a little
