For anyone who likes/liked Digimon in the past, and likes turn-based RPGs reminiscent of the Persona series, I'd strongly recommend this game. The story's great (though it takes a bit to get going), digimon collection is nice and fun, and there's enough there to keep you entertained for quite a while.

So, straight up, i never watched Digimon back in it's hey-day, i was ALL about Pokemon, and everything else was inferior, at the time, so i never even gave it a chance. This game is AMAZING though. It's made by former ATLUS employees so the art style is INCREDIBLE and plays very similarly to the PS2-era Shin Megami Tensei games, like Nocturne and Persona 3+4. Check it out, even if you never watched or was into Digimon back in "the day", you may be pleasantly blown-away by this game, like i was!

It's a great RPG for those fans of the genre. Not just those that are fans of the series. If you enjoy a great JRPG with Digimon Elements, this is definitely the game for you! It does have some difficulty spikes though. However, the game can be beaten by simple repetition for experience.

This is a great game. Never watched Digimon before but the game mechanics are really well done!

It did fulfill my Digimon cravings for a while. The turn system still makes it a pretty awesome game.

Wow, this game is radical! Coming from someone who never watched nor cared about Digimon, back in it's hey-day, i absolutely adore this game. The art style, graphics, sound and feel of this game are all top-notch and well-produced. Pretty sure this easily runs at 60 fps, it is gorgeous to look at. Gameplay-wise, it plays near-identically to the PS2-era Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games, i believe at least one of the artists from those games worked on this one, and it definitely shows (in a good way!). I'd say, even if you were never into Digimon, but like Japanese RPGs and maybe even Pokemon, but want a full-fledged console experience, pick this up as soon as possible!

Pokemon fans should definitely buy this game. I loved Digimon ever since I was a kid so hearing that they had a game on console I knew I had to buy immediately. Gameplay is so fun, you can easily get 50 hours of gameplay and if you're a completionist like me then you can surpass 100 hours easy. One of my favorite PS4 games ever!

A pretty good game made for those of us who grew up with Digimon but haven't touched on anything besides the first series. It definitely has its issues with grind and pacing, but it was made for the young adults that have wanted a Pokemon-like Digimon game and that's kinda slim pickings.
