This is an excellent elliptical with a few faults. First, it pedals smooth, has a large easy to read display and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Second, my body doesn’t care if it’s burning calories on this machine or one that cost 3x more. Calories burned is the end goal and this machine does that well. Now for the negatives. I consider myself handy and own a lot of tools. I used both of those while building it. I needed help lifting it and getting the feet under it to attach. Also, like someone else mentioned, the lowest setting was difficult so I had to watch some YouTube videos and adjust the magnet near the wheel to provide a more realistic resistance. I left the swinging arms off of mine because I don’t use them. I hold the handles with heart rate monitor and the arms just get in the way or hit me when I reach for the remote or water bottle. I will include some pictures to show you how much assembly is required.

The elliptical arrived when it was supposed to. I am a 50 year old female and was able to put it together by myself. The paperwork indicates you have to register on ifit but all you have to do is hold down the blue button for several seconds and it activates without subscribing to their workout plan. The elliptical is NOT stable as indicated in other reviews. I plan to work on seeing if I can fix that. Overall it's worth the $599 I paid for it.

Nice elliptical machine. Feels very sturdy while using it. I like the ability to use different resistance levels as well as switching the incline to target different muscle groups. You can use this model with or with out the ifit wifi option. I purchased it on sale. Good value for the price. I would recommend purchasing the set up in any room and haul away of your old machine if needed.

The machine itself I give 5 stars. I assembled myself- very easy. I am no way a wrench person so IF can do it-so can you. A bit heavy so you need a second person to help lift. Works great just like the ones in the gym! My only complaint- IFIT only gave me 1 month free trial. However BB & ProForm indicate 12 months free with purchase of elliptical. After several emails to IFIT sending all the proof they ask for- I gave up waiting for a fix. I will never use them!

This is pretty frustrating... First, I too was duped into thinking that I was getting a full year of the Ifit membership upon purchasing this product, but no I only got the 30 days. Second, the power adapter snapped while I was working out... SO... Now the thing is not even working at all... Trying to find a replacement power adapter, but as of right now, I may be sending the whole thing back.

Doesn't work. Services were poor. Its been a year now and it is sitting as junk. Some parts never fit properly and were never sent.

I had an older Schwin model elliptical that I wore out. This Proform elliptical was better built and cost 200.00 less.

Gym quality and compact! Space saver for sure. Highly recommend!

The top part with the handles/timer JUST SNAPPED OFF MID WORKOUT. Less than 6 months of use. Don't waste your money.

Works fine, quite a few small plastic parts to assemble, took around 45 minutes to assemble. Easy to use and quality seems fine. Would have been nice to have adjustable pedals. One issue was Best Buy shows in their description that you get 1 year of access to Ifit, but it is only 30 days. I have tried to remedy this by contacting Ifit, but they do not want to deal with the issue.

Please do not believe the lower star reviews! People that complain about the 30 days membership or other stupid related complaints "excuse my French"! But seriously, it seems that before they do any research or even before using the machine itself, they rush in to write a review!!! Well, I'm here to tell you that before buying it, I already knew everything that i need to know (for me of course). Yes, its only 30 days for ifit which is stated everywhere (if you do your research of course), and no the machine wont lock you out without a subscription. From BestBuy to the world wide web you can easily find out that by holding the ifit for 30 seconds or less, you will bypass the ifit lock. Now for the machine itself! I consider my self a gymaholic if there's such thing, but with all seriousness, I love working out, and I believe that the most important thing is your own will and motivation. The machine is there to help you accomplish them faster within a control environment. And yes, this machine does!!! I've lost count of how many machines I've used in my lifetime. From those at the gym to the ones you can buy for personal use, you cannot go wrong with this one. From price, easy to use/comfort this machine deserves a 5 starts. Of course if you want to spend more for a fancier machine you can, but again remember what i said in regards to your own will and motivation. I advise you to do your own research and take the lower star review with a major grain of salt :) And no, this is not a paid review! I paid it with my own money! Sorry i hope i didn't bore you to death! But, in a nutshell, you cannot go wrong with it! Peace out!

Took a while (3 hours with 2 people) to put together, but the instructions through BILT was pretty good. There were some tough moments as some of the connections were pretty tight and required the mallet, but we eventually figured it out. The elliptical works as advertised. It turns on when it's suppose to and works well as an exercise machine. I did bypass the required iFit by holding down the iFit button for approx 20 seconds before I used the machine/turned it on and since then I've never had an issue with iFit holding the exercise machine hostage.

Had to replace this item as my husband worked out too much and put it through a lot of abuse. It held up really well for the circumstances but ultimately needed some repairs.

excellent work out specially with iFit. Assembly takes two people and it was a couple of hours. However be mindful that I am a female and my son who is 14 helped me. Overall it was not bad. For iFIt membership issues and payments questions make sure to contact iFit directly as neither Best Buy nor Proform cannot really answer your questions. iFIt is fun to have as it makes your LED console to have a interactive touch screen approach as twist. You need a tablet though it does not work on cell phones. I have an iPhone and it does not work on it but in my samsung tablet is perfect! I am really enjoying and is very combining to have a full body work out without having to step out of the house.

It took us (two adults) 4 hours to assemble. Overall the product is affordable, easy to use and sturdy, though It is making weird noise after ~5 uses, it is good for its price.

Positives: This is a good, basic elliptical. Feels solid. Good construction. Smooth to use. Good customer service. Negatives: Tries to make you join iFit program to activate, but not needed. I by-passed it. Initial quality problem with the tensioner motor (motor kept running and elliptical stayed at the highest resistance), but was able to get a replacement part after a week. No problems since

Not a high level functionality elliptical. It is maybe mid range or lower, but it fits the low price niche with good quality. Basic controls and a little strange to figure out initially. Has a manual incline setting. Has multiple program settings. The stride is smooth and mostly quiet. Assembly isn't too bad, but it's very heavy. You may need an assist. Overall it was a good purchase for the price. Just don't expect all of the bells and whistles.

Two person set up! Good quality, you need to go online to register your machine before you can use it. No need to purchase program if not wanted.

First, you have to put the bike together. Second, this elliptical is heavy. We did bring it up two floors by taking parts individually. The flywheel is the heaviest. Second, the nuts and bolts are labelled. None of the other parts are labelled, but it's easy to figure out. I'm not mechanically inclined but I did put this elliptical together. So if I can put it together, so can you. It took a few hours but I did it all by myself. This elliptical was worth all the time and money I spent on it. I highly recommend buying it. This is a professional machine. The quality is excellent and I am very pleased with this purchase. I've had other ellipticals in the past, but they were all junk. This elliptical feels just like the real thing. It's heavy and it holds weight. It doesn't move back and forth while you're using it. It stays in place and it's quiet, too. The electronic readings are bright and large. The image screen is awesome. You don't have to buy into any exercise programs to use it. What else can I say? This machine is worth buying.
