Although this version of Quicken Deluxe says it's for new subscribers only, it doesn't clearly state that you cannot use it once your current subscription expires. Since it's a download, Best Buy would not credit or exchange it for their product that is not only for new subscribers. After lots of time on the phone with Best Buy and Quicken customer service, I was able to start a new subscription with an alternate email account, but not without spending lots of time in Quicken to reconnect all my accounts so they update online properly. For the life of me I have no idea why Quicken would spend time and money to create a version for new subscribes only. It only serves to alienate existing users, without helping the company's revenue stream.

Bought this copy (see pic) from Best Buy. It would not work on my PC. I contacted Quicken support. They could not make it work, either. Quicken worked for an hour and eventually provided me with a 50% discount for their 2021 subscription of Quicken! Eventually Best Buy refunded the money I paid for the 2017 version, which I see now indicates “Foe New Subscribers Only.” I have been a Quicken subscriber for a long time and sought to avoid paying an annual subscription fee for 2021. Their 2017 version is the last one that you can actually own.

I only purchased this to get rid of the annoying expiration notices that cover the screen every year when my previous years license expires. I would switch to another program if I could find one. Instead of offering a loyalty discount to existing customers, they penalize you for continuing to use their program by charging twice the price to renew your subscription. Since I only use it to balance my accounts and keep track of the charges, I might just revert back to one of the older versions that I own and won't have to renew each year.

I don't like that i have to purchase a subscription. I don't use or need any of the online items in your program and shouldn't have to pay yearly to use it. Just another way for you to get more money.

Be sure you are aware that this product is only for new subscribers. I made the mistake of purchasing this version, not realizing the box said new subscribers - the description didn’t indicate it. Sales are final for digital downloads and I couldn’t get my money back or exchange for correct version.

Horrible experience. Sold me a digital download I could not use and refused to refund my money.

This product has a great name, but I wasn’t impressed with the function or design of this product. I had issues with login and having to repeat passwords. I had a better time with Mint.

I've used Quicken for years and really enjoy its ease of use. Needed to upgrade my old version and this one does the job.

I am a long-time Quicken user and it has been a great way to track money and spending. I don't use a fraction of the features but when I do, super helpful. The mere fact that you look at your spending every week is a value. I would give it five stars but just haven't been able to get the mobile version working as well as I would like

I could not use the digital version since I am not a new customer. I had to get a refund and purchase the disc, at the exact same price, to be able to use it. It doesn't make sense for the company to not allow me to use the digital version since it saves them money!

Quicken will not all this product to be used as a renewal if you have a current subscription. They want you to purchase their higher priced renewal!! Shame on Quicken.

Only works for new customers - I hate these people. They charge loyal users more than new customers.

Quicken is the only product out there that can manage your multiple accts. I use this product daily and it is my bread and butter. There are quite a few software glitches that still needs to be fixed.

Even though the product title on the web page does NOT indicate "NEW SUBCRIBERS ONLY", it is. VERY MISLEADING ON THE WEB PAGE. Customer Service WILL NOT BUDGE ON ANY CREDIT OR REFUND TO PRUCHASE THE CORRECT VERSION. What a ripoff - never again with Best Buy.

Love Quicken software. Update works well, easy to transfer from old one. Only con is too pricey for yearly charge. I'm not a business. Thanks Best Buy for the lowest price.

No problem with Best Buy but seeing this was purchase with another Intuit product as a perk or add on, but then it applies only to new subscribers was a pain due to quicken. Re-evaluating the product line for sure.

Easy to use...sign up was quick, I look forward to having my taxes done more quickly next year

This product is only for new Quicken users. It doesn't work for existing ones.

I was sold the wrong version and have been unable to obtain the correct version after repeated calls and chats with support.
