An impressive all new experience in full HD with 5.1 surround. Digital copy included but via Moviespree which requires a separate account. Wish it was Anywhere, or Vudu/Apple libraries instead where all my movies are. Very cool artwork steel-book case with slipcover combo which you often don’t see.

RAD! Do You Love 80's BMX bikes? with sick tricks? and a love story? it's a fun little 80's movie done well. I think I might of seen this somewhere along time ago on TV or i never seen it. I picked this up at best buy just cause I'm on an 80's movie Kick. Today's movies just don't do it for me anymore. Even if the 80's had some bad films at least you can see the art behind it all. It was all about the love of movies back then and pushing Awesome Products unlike today's "Commercial in a movie and all it's CGI and green screen nothing like that in this movie. only body doubles and stunts mostly by young teens on BMX bikes. If you looking for a fun movie to relax to no cheap thrills just love for BMX and Movie making all in one. Glad I picked it up it was an entertaining movie and I know I'll enjoy watching it again real soon. Some extras include a podcast interview, other interviews shot on set or after the movie as well. Also some older actors that if you grew up in the 80's will know and remember acting in it's greatest state. Physical media is amazing!

The publisher, Mill Creek Entertainment, can be a little bit iffy on their releases. This one checks out. Big thanks to them for providing such a great video and audio transfer on this blu-ray. The steelbook package looks fannntastic. I really like this new (to me) trend of transparent slipcovers over steelbooks. So far I think it always looks great. Extra content is pretty good and entertaining. A new zoom-panel interview session with some cast and crew, and vintage interviews as well. A very easy recommend to fans of this movie, or to those who haven't yet seen but suspect they'll love a very-80's-style BMX racing movie called Rad, with a bike dance-off set to Send Me an Angel.

This was the first bmx movie i loved so much. As soon as the movie ended i grabbed my bike ran outside and broke my arm. Years later i broke my leg and more years later i broke my jaw. Now to this day i still try the bmx tricks from this movie. So i am now looking forward to what next endeavors may occur the next time i watch this film and run outside to try all the Rad tricks.

Very very nice steel book. I just bought this for the art. I already own the 4k limited VS VS release so I just bought it for the art. The movie is an 80s classic. I can't speak to the quality of the transfer since I haven't checked it out. But this is the first official mass release since VHS so I'm sure it's better then that. So BUY IT NOW

A kid who loves to BMX bike ride, competes against others to attempt to win Helltrack. A competition against other riders for a prize. The music is great in this and really cleaned up from the VHS version I saw years ago. It's a must buy for racing and BMX fans.

An absolutely terrible movie but it's still... RAD. This BluRay looks great and captures 80s era film stock brilliantly. I really have no complaints - if you like the movie, you know. If you hate the movie, you're not going to have your mind changed by this release lol

This is my third physical copy of this stellar piece of 80's cinema! If you have the Mondo X Steelbook, this release includes special features not on that release! With the 4k release being so costly on the aftermarket, you can't beat the price on this one!!

This is an awesome movie for any child of the 80s. It’s unbelievable it’s taken this long to get an actual release on dvd/Blu-ray. The picture and sound is top notch. Sure there is some film grain, but that is to be expected from something filmed in 1986.

I'm incredibly excited to own this again, especially on blu-ray. I remember seeing this as a kid. The scene where he's running from the police officer in the lumber yard was a personal favorite as was the bike dance set to Real Life's "Send Me an Angel".

Beautiful Steelbook, and glad I was able to get my hands on a copy. Would have been nice to have the word “Steelbook” anywhere in the listing so it would show on search results. That’s a Best Buy gripe, and not on the product itself.

It's no Thrashin', but who can ever deny the raw power of a freestyle session set to "Send Me An Angel"? The Blu-ray looks great, and while I'd love to be one of the 1000 neckbeards that owns Vinegar Syndrome's 4K release, this one is absolutely fine. Bonus points because my overpriced Steelbook (I don't care for gimmicky packaging) arrived the morning that a standard, much-cheaper version was announced for an August 21 release.

Such a totally tubular movie! One fun ride of a dude that sets out to be the most radical bmx racer and even finds love along the journey. This steel book from Millcreek is packaged really well and is reasonably priced.

I have owned this movie on VHS and have had several unofficial DVDs, but finally I get to see the full widescreen cleaned up version in a premium format. Great fun and great music.
