I've used a few wireless devices like this, but have never liked them for gaming. There always seems to be a little lag, especially when using Bluetooth. I don't have an ounce of lag with this mouse. Also, this model can use either AA or AAA batteries, which is kind of neat. It has both Bluetooth and standard wireless operation with a dongle. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than five is because I've had random disconnect issues. It seems to simply stop working for a few seconds and then reconnect. After running a firmware update and installing the latest Razer software, I haven't had any problems. I honest don't like the Razer software on my computers, though. It tries to take control of way too many systems in Windows. I do like the mouse, though.

I bought one for my girlfriend and ended up buying one myself after using it. Switches are tactile and precise, scroll wheel is tight and notchy, and the skates are very smooth. You can also adjust the weight by swapping between a AA or AAA battery. It seems suitable for palm grip in small hands or fingertip for large hands. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no griptape applied on the sides like the Viper Ultimate, so its not as easy to fingertip. But the mouse is textured so it doesn't feel to slippery in hand. I got it on sale for $45 and it seems like an incredible value. For the price, I was expecting it to feel less premium than the other mice in my collection. But it keeps up with other more expensive mice. Felt very natural to pick up and start clicking heads. Wireless performance is excellent over the included 2.4ghz dongle, and so far the battery life has been good. I also like the added customization of removable faceplates, I swapped with my gf for the pink.

Razer markets this mouse as a travel mouse for laptop gamers, but it feels and performs like a top-tier gaming mouse. $40 on sale is a steal. It easily beats the G305 by being significantly lighter and it doesn’t feel cheap. Depending on what shape you prefer, this might be better than the Viper Ultimate. I have large hands and switch between fingertip and a claw/palm hybrid grip comfortably. This is my GO-TO FPS gaming mouse, accompanied by the Basilisk Ultimate for everyday ergonomic usage. The wireless USB dongle did have some hiccups at first with connection, and I found out it works best on USB 3.0. I’ve heard some units may need a firmware update. But once I got it working it is fast and accurate- Going wireless is so worth it. It comes with a AA battery which works well, but I swapped in a rechargeable AAA to shave off even more weight. The only thing extra I’d like is RGB, but for the price I can’t complain about that being cut out.

I got this initially to use it for my laptop and nothing more, but it has now become my daily driver for my desktop. I play a lot of FPS games, and this thing's perfect for me as a person who prefers that claw-grip for my mice. The fact that it's powered by actual AAA or or AA batteries gives it amazing battery life. They also act as weights for the mouse if you're into that kinda thing. The sensor is actually really responsive, and the surface up top has this texture to it that's not so smooth that it gets all slippery when you sweat, but it's not rough to the point where it feels low quality. I've included a size comparison to the Logitech G305, which is slightly longer, and more flat than the Orochi V2. It was also my previous mouse.

The Orochi V2 is spot on for accessibility and portability, especially if you like to game on the go when you're traveling, this is hands-down a winner for both the customization of DPI settings and even the price! This was a steal when I purchased it. Between the 2.4Ghz switch and Bluetooth, you don't necessarily see a difference, but being able to Bluetooth this to your other devices at the flick of the switch is pretty handy. When the mouse is not in use, flick the switch off, and the battery is still doing wonderfully after 2 weeks of use. I'm active-duty military, so the size of this mouse going with me in my go bag, when I'm gaming or doing schoolwork is plus. Also, for those people that have about a male size L or XL in gloves, this works well for me with the size of my hand.) as for females if you have a small hand, this works snug like a bug! You know the saying, if the shoe fits, wear it! Overall, if you're not trying to shell out too much for a nice gaming mouse, the Orochi is for you. Razer has done a good job over the years making mouses incredibly great, as well as the software to make the fine tweaks with Synapse.

Really loving this mouse. I swapped from a Glorious Model O wireless and I'm glad I did and don't miss that one ever. Definitely a good mouse for anyone with a small-med hand/palm. definitely great for claw grippers for gaming or everyday use. Light and comfortable, but doesn't feel cheap at all. Clicks on all the buttons are nice and crisp, super satisfying. My only cons for this mouse are that it doesn't use an internal battery and uses either a AA or AAA battery (+1 to Razer for including battery in the box though) and that it requires Razer software to make any changes to performance. Overall solid mouse at the price point where there is definitely a lot of competition

Orochi is one the best wireless mouse available today. The Logitech G305 is similar in that it does take a battery but the shape is very different. The Orochi is much smaller/lighter, it's perfect for fingertip. But not great if you claw or palm grip, unless you have small hands. This mouse has major dpi deviation, so running it at 400 or 800 is faster than normal 400/800 dpi. To combat this run the mouse in multiples of 600, 1200, 1800 for dpi and set the ingame to match the edpi. Also this mouse may have sensor skipping issue depending on the usb port you use. I had to upgrade the firmware from Razer website. It's easy to upgrade but your computer needs to have blutooth for it to update. PROS This mouse is very comfortable for fingertip grip. It has a great thumb groove on left. Something the G305 doesn't have. It is much lighter than G305. Option to use AA or AAA battery- longest life in mouse Iv'e seen. I use rechargeable AAA to make it lighter. Clicks are very clicky and tactile, they use mechanical switches. Haven't heard too many complaints about doubleclicking. The feet seam decent. Mine scratch a little bit, upgrading to tiger arc ice feet. CONS It is small- not recommended for large hands unless you use figertip grip. The forward mouse sensor may take some time to get used to. It may take some time to adjust. Just play aimlabs for a week and you'll adjust. I do feel the sensor is more reactive to my micro finger motions when fingertiping. No USB extender you may get interference. CONCLUSION Some say this is just a travel mouse but I use it as my main for Valorant. It is built solid. The mouse has low click latency. I do wish Razer would upgrade this mouse to the focus sensor and add a usb extender. If you have larger hands and clawgrip, I'd recommend the g305 though. Fingertip on this thing is amazing you have so much room for microadjustments.

So, I've been running a razer basilisk wireless as my mouse. I thought it was light, and fast, but often times, I would take my laptop to work, and forget my mouse, so I decided to buy this one as a secondary. I almost didn't, because I really thought the basilisk was super light as is, and how much lighter can it get? Wow, the orochi is about 2/3 the weight of the basilisk. (both weighed with battery). it's also a lot smaller, even though it didn't look like it at first. The finish on it, seems more "durable" than the one on my basilisk. as far as button actuation goes, I think, you will end up choking up a little bit on the orochi, and your finger will end up clicking, vs the finger tips on the basilisk. The only thing I miss is the thumb rest, but I'm using this more for work. One caveat, I'm a controller gamer, vs kbm, but my daughter used it, and she liked the white one better (her words, not mine), while playing minecraft. The one thing that I did wish they would have done, is make the dongle usb c vs usb a, just to show that they are moving forward. Lots of newer laptops are usb c/thunderbolt only now.

I switch back and forth between this and the Razer Deathadder V2 Pro, and considering how much more expensive the DAV2 Pro is, there is little difference in quality between these two mice. Orochi has a great feel and is quite small but despite my large hands it still fits really nicely. Not rechargeable but has both AA and AAA option which makes it really versatile. I have been using it for months now and haven’t had to replace the AA batteries I put in originally after purchase. In fact, Razer synapse shows that it’s still near full battery. Whereas I’ve had to recharge my Deathadder dozens of times. Love the overall design, has a storage for dongle inside which is great so you don’t lose it. Also has Bluetooth capabilities as well. Works with my iPhone 11 Pro too!

I've bought this mouse 3 times now. I bought it the first time to replace my original Orochi Laptop Wireless Mouse and immediately fell in love with it so much that I waited for a sale to buy a 2nd one as back up and a 3rd for a friend who has been wanting a good wireless mouse for her laptop. This mouse is light weight, fast, responsive and extremely well built. It has no downside that I can think of. It has long lasting battery life and is comfortable to use for productivity and gaming. Seriously, if you are looking for a less expensive great wireless mouse for your desktop or laptop computer, snag one of these. You won't be sorry. Heck, I'm even using it while writing this review!

I have a G305 for my desktop and purchased this as a mouse for my laptop. I can honestly say that this mouse is much nicer than the competition and is regularly on sale at or below the price. It will be replacing my G305. I like that it has bluetooth and 2.4ghz connections. It also can accept AA and AAA batteries!

Amazing mouse, top of the line. It’s really really weightless but the single battery gives it a nice weight to it. Also it only needs 1 AA battery to work or 1AAA battery to work. Great color and easy to remove cover, thought it was a bit to easy and the cover might come off on accident but a few weeks later and it hasn’t come off. Even while I worked on different areas in my house

It’s great. I have a white setup so this mouse was almost a must. Apart from the color, it’s also really lightweight and I love the clicking sound… I thought I was gonna hate the sound but I decided to try it out and it turned out to be good! I also love that you can use bluetooth or 2.4:) I have smaller hands so this is pretty good for me.

I bought this mouse over Christmas when it was on sale. It's my first wireless mouse and I'm glad I made the jump. It's quite light. It can use both AA and AAA batteries which is brilliant. I like the mousewheel, it's satisfying and doesn't collect dirt like my old Logitech mouse. My main gripes are that the mouse wheel doesn't have tilting and and no endless scroll.

My hands are 16.6 x 8.9cm and I claw mainly. I play Overwatch at 138cm/360 aka 400 dpi and 2.5. I love the hyperspeed wireless and triple A lithium battery combination. The weight is lower than my Model D for sure and the switches are well made. Side buttons a bit deep but nothing that would impact the game.

Bluetooth mice shouldnt be this great, but it is. Never experience one bit of lag. Super lightweight so great for casually browsing the internet of gaming. Turns off automatically after 15 minutes when not using so the battery last forever, and you can’t go wrong with a white aesthetic.

The Razer Orochi V2, is one of the best mice I've had. Originally used to use a wired razer mouse (Razer Viper) It was the best mouse that I had ever used. It felt great and was incredible for gaming. But as I upgraded my setup I needed a mouse that was wireless and also had Bluetooth connectivity. I found this boy on Best Buys website when it was on sale and it was perfect. Not only was it in the best color to match my setup it was at a great price. The packaging was razer as usual. The quality of the mouse was incredible. The button presses were nice and comfortable. Using it with Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy, (Laptop Was the Dell XPS) For gaming this mouse works perfectly. I have tested it on games such as Minecraft, Fortnite, and COD. Its battery life seems nice as I haven't needed to replace it yet unlike my other wireless work mouses. Overall it's a great device and razer hasn't disappointed me yet.

One of the best wireless mouse out in the market. I was using the superlight for months but the shape just isn't for me. Razer then released the orochi v2 and quickly replaced my superlight as my main mouse. Better switches and mouse feet for half the price.

Super lightweight mouse. The perfect mouse for on-the-go. The blue tooth feature works wonderfully. The battery lasts a long time.
