This rode deadcat further wind shield is amazing it helps keep the wind away and cant hear the wind at all in the videos but it's really good honestly love it;)

This mic does an amazing job for it's price. Highly recommend since it has usb c as an option to bring into a computer or smartphone.

Had not issues with this item worked perfectly on those windy days even background noise

Wow! What a difference the wind shield makes! No more pops and snaps of wind bursts over the builtin microphone! It's easy to use and has survived 6months+ of abuse in my camera bag.

I use this Deadcat Go artificial fur wind shield all the time. It’s a great product. Not to mention it looks cool.

This is a great shotgun mic for the price. It's not perfect, but is a large improvement over internal mics for DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.

odd fitting on my mic, hole in bottom instead of on back for some reason but I made it work.

Originally i wouldnt use a deadcat for my shotgun mic...but recently I had a wedding where it was very windy for the first look. The bride/groom were not mic'd and i couldnt pick up very well what they were saying. The deadcat has fixed that issue for those situations

Don't be fooled. This does NOT fit the Rode VideoMic Pro. This particular dead cat is for an older microphone, no longer produced, the Rode Go mic. There's no way to even McGyver this over the newer mic. If you have the Go mic, this thing is excellent. They deaden wind noise absolutely. A requirement if you are recording sound outdoors.

RØDE - DeadCat GO Artificial Fur Wind Shield is a must have accessory when filming outside and other different situation when sound is an important aspect. It really cuts down noise from wind and other noise producing events. Great investment for producing good quality sound in many different situations.

I needed this fur cover for my rode pro mic so I could record outside without pesky wind whipping in the mic. I film for gardening so I have to film outside and it’s usually very windy where I am. I am excited to take it on the go and capture moments!

I videotape a lot outside and the DeadCat is what I need. It functions as supposed eliminating the wind from the sound.
