Phillip Dornbuschs Projektor - Reflex - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

When Dornbusch plays, he doesn't necessarily do it according to the book. His maxims are experiment, try things out and avoid repetitions if possible. InchI concern myself far too little with theory. I prefer composing from my moods.Inch Fewer notes. Just let your feeling and form on the day flow. As a result, the same piece can regularly sound different in key, rhythm and harmonic variations. For this, open, flexible kindred spirits are needed, who also have an excellent command of their instrument. Therefore, it took much longer than just a few phone calls to put together InchProjektorInch, this young researcher quintet with the pianist Johanna Summer, the guitarist Johannes Mann, the bassist Roger Kintopf and the drummer Philip Dornbusch, which is now releasing a work with InchReflexInch that also opens a new chapter for the successful Jazz thing Next Generation series. The current sequel in the series is actually an album like a reflex, perhaps the first one that doesn't start with finished concepts, but looks like a blank that everyone can bend, grind or knock into shape at will. InchBossInch Dornbusch naturally composed with notes, wrote down certain parts quite precisely to consolidate the basic idea of the respective piece, but leaves at least as much open. In this context, the saxophonist often speaks of the Inchcharacter of musicInch or of the InchatmosphereInch, encouraging his fellow musicians to play completely freely as well as unpredictable solos. Dornbuschthus proves to be the somewhat different architect. InchI draw the plan for a house, the floor plan, the fireplace and certain rooms. The others can add the rest with all their creativity.Inch The musical renaissance of the Bauhaus style, so to speak - and hopefully to be admired live again starting from March. Otherwise, you would really miss something Album Tracks 1. Boomtown 2. Unhinged Wo

Abdominal - Ab Flex - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Back in 1998 Abdominal released his debut album InchAb FlexInch on tape only. He sold most of his tapes out of his knapsack back then as you did in the 90's, true backpack rap! This was where it all started for Abs, who became known as one of the best rappers and freestylers ever to come out of Canada and often collaborated with DJ in the years to come.  A while ago Abs found 63 original tapes in his dad's basement and headz jumped on those like crazy. Now HHE is extremely proud to announce our collabo with Abs to bring you this amazing piece of work on both CD and Vinyl as well.  Not only will you get the original 9 tracks, no... we will add 6 more previously unreleased bonus tracks from these sessions! To make it even more special we hooked up with known local Toronto illustrator and artist Kagan McLeod (a personal friend of Abdominal) who updated the front cover entirely making this not only an album but a limited piece of art as well!   All tracks remastered by Justin Perkins and limited to only 350 CD's! Album Tracks 1. My Name Is Abdominal 2. Head Games II 3. Urban Hermit 4. Panic Attack 5. While You Sleep 6. Train of Thought Feat. Obe-One 7. Outta Left Field 8. Elixir 9. Head Games 10. Phonetrix (Bonus Track) 11. Sink Into the Rhythm (Bonus Track) 12. Wax for Trax (Bonus Track) 13. Power Moves (Bonus Track) 14. Head Games II (Bomb Mix) (Bonus Track) 15.
