Blazing out of Portland, Oregon, ASHEN RELIC brings forth a complex yet crushing metal attack spawning from influences such as SLAYER, (early) FATES WARNING, (early) METALLICA, (early) IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, ANTHRAX, (early) MEGADETH, DESTRUCTION, CANNIBAL CORPSE, KREATOR, and MERCYFUL FATE. With both agression and progression, screaming guitars, crushing drums and a vocal style that's all attitude, ASHEN RELIC blends Old School Thrash Metal with Hard Core Punk (imagine a marriage of SLAYER and POISON IDEA) with a touch of a progressive edge (ala early FATES WARNING)that leaves you wanting more! Ashen Relic's first full length CD, Prelude to Eternal Night features 9 tracks of face melting new material, as well as two live videos of the band inclusive of performing material from their 2004 self-titled Demo.
