I expected this to pop & crackle a little, it did not. I am using this with an optical input to a 18 yr old Sony reciever hooked up to Klipsch f3's and an Aiwa powered subwoofer. It sounds so good streaming Pandora from an old cell phone that I should have tossed, but hey it has a value too...Bluetooth. Worth buying with a super easy set up. I use this outside on my pool deck

Purchased this to run a 2 speaker portable system. Wanted Bluetooth to connect to my iPhone. Works great. Easy to pair. Stays connected.

Bought this Bluetooth Receiver to use at a friend’s son’s graduation party. I wanted a simple way for his guests to be able to play their own music on the DJ System I had setup for the outdoor party in the evening which included a bonfire. The gadget worked fine, and the quests were able to easily pair with the receiver and play their music. It was a success!

I have to admit that I was skeptical at first in trying out this item, but considering the alternative of purchasing a brand new stereo system for several hundred if not thousands of dollars this was a no brainer. For a meager $50 you too can turn any old stereo, like the bookshelf system in my bedroom, or even just a pair of computer speakers into a Bluetooth capable sound system. Measuring in at a mere 4 x 3 inches this tiny Bluetooth receiver isn't very impressive until you plug it in and actually use it. Pairing with my iPhone 6s was a breeze. The receiver is highly responsive with no lag whatsoever and delivers crystal clear sound to the speakers of your choice. It is powered by an AC adapter provided in the box, and also features a 3.5 jack for speaker output. This receiver even has a fiber optic cable output if you decide to connect to your speakers via that route. Over all, you can't beat this little device especially with its $50 price tag. As a matter of fact, soon as I get a chance I'm getting one for the old stereo in my living room.

Easy to hookup and use. The sound quality is great considering I'm using this with a high end Meridian system that resolves very minute detail. Yes, the Rocketfish product does not have the same sound quality as, say, a high quality source like a SACD player but it's not supposed to. I purchased this product because I've turned into as tightwad as I've aged. Considering the source is an iPhone, I could hardly expect more. It sounds very open, clear and the soundstage is resolved nicely. Terrific product and I'm delighted with my purchase.

Being a long time and even old fashioned perhaps hi-fi buff, I always view these types of "solutions" with much skepticism. Experience has been that the result is usually far less than satisfying. This is not the case with the Rocketfish! When I am most satisfied, my immediate thought is that "everyone should have one of these!" It doesn't happen often, so it is very clear to me when it does. This is a must have device that would please all but the most discriminating audiophiles. It works perfectly; easy setup and surprisingly excellent sound quality. For around $50, you can't beat it. I'd put it up against units costing twice as much. The unit itself is small and compact for placement almost anywhere and it is a snap to hookup; power cord and RCA plugs to your output source. As others have noted there are no admin type functions allowing to change the SSID, but this is a minor shortcoming IMO esp. at this price point. So since everyone should have one, what are you waiting for!

Bought this bluetooth activator accessory to add to my stereo system for bluetooth capabilities. This product was easy to install and was able to play music off my smartphone on my stereo system in minutes which I could not do before this. Sound is great and is accessory for any stereo system to add a large music library you have on your smartphone that you wouldnt be able to play without this adapter. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought this for my garage stereo that is a little older without Bluetooth but does have an optical output. Bluetoothed easy it hooks right up, good sound and seems to have decent distance. I like this one over some other ones because you have different options on hook up. You have optical, RCA, and it also comes with a 3.5mm cable so you could use the head phone jack as well. Easy set up.

I came across this little piece of technology and I am so happy that I did. I really did not want to have to update my stereo system just to be able to listen to music off my Ipad or cell phone. I was able to hook this up to my stereo and was able to rock my music in less than 5 minutes. This was well worth the few dollars I spent and my 50 and older friends have also gone out to up date thier system as well.

This bluetooth music receiver was easy to setup. I have connected my phone, pad, and computer to it and they all give the same strong connection. The Bluetooth music receiver is connected to my home receiver it gives me full room sound. The price is great for the unit. Makes my life easier to listen to music I love.

This sweet little device let's you connect your favorite BT enabled phone to your audio system to stream music. It was inexpensive, works as advertised, and saved me hundreds by not having to buy a new receiver! Very easy to hook up too. I was streaming music in 5 min.

The Rocketfish RF-BTR315 Bluetooth receiver was simple to connect to my 25-year old receiver and straightforward to pair with both iPhone and Kindle. The device has good range throughout the house and the sound quality is clean and clear - same quality as CD's or cable.

Purchased the Rocketfish Bluetooth Music Reciever even after reading some neg. reviews? Whats there not to like about this little phenom! If you know what your doing and hook this up properly it works as advertised. Analog or SPDIF you choose, sounds really good when in SPDIF,Analog isn't that far off either.I'm not moving this all over the place its right on top of the reciever and thats where it'll stay.Nice to be able to use your phone and find music that you don't have in your library and listen to all thats out there! I gave this 5 stars because its just a cool little gadget, and it works! ENJOY.

This bluetooth receiver is perfect! It's the right size, the right price, and it's so easy to set up. I've had no complications with it whatsoever since I got it and I use it daily. I would definitely recommend this receiver to my friends.

I own a JVC stereo system that is 23 years old and works perfectly attached to my 23 year old JBL solid oak cabinet speakers. I wanted to bring it all into the new day and age of Bluetooth and was very surprised to find this little palm sized box did just that ! Easy to install & pair up with my iPhone or iPad within minutes. I absolutely love being able to listen to my favorite playlist through my JBL’s !! In previous reviews someone commented about making sure the volume on your portable device should be set to one bar and then control the volume through your stereo system.... make sure you do this or the sound you’ll hear is gonna scare you pretty bad...lol , it did me ! Best investment I’ve made in a very long time , well worth the $25 !

Small, compact, easy to use. I even used it in my car until I got a Bluetooth made for automobiles. Super easy to hookup and connect. High quality sound.

Used to stream music to my old stereo receiver and speakers. It has great sound, was simple to hook up and automatically connects to my phone. Range seems to be good 40'
