I’ve been really impressed with the Ruko U11MINI 4K RC3 drone so far. For a lightweight sub-250g drone, it packs in a lot of features that make it great for beginners and casual drone enthusiasts alike. The built-in screen controller is one of the best features because you don’t have to fool with connecting your phone every time you want to fly. Setup is fast, simple, and much less frustrating than other drones I’ve tried. The 3-axis gimbal does a surprisingly good job keeping video smooth, and the 4K footage looks sharp and stable in good lighting conditions. I also like how portable it is. Since it weighs under 249g, it’s easy to travel with and avoids a lot of the registration hassles recreational flyers usually deal with. Battery life is solid, especially with the extra batteries included in the kit, so you get plenty of flight time before needing to recharge. The drone is very beginner-friendly with features like GPS return-to-home, stable hovering, and easy controls. That said, it’s not perfect. I did notice some hover drift in windy conditions, but not bad at all. The camera also performs best in daylight because low-light quality isn’t amazing. Overall, I think the U11MINI 4K RC3 is an excellent value for the money. If you’re looking for an affordable drone with a built-in display, smooth stabilized video, and easy operation without jumping into expensive professional models, this is definitely worth considering.

This is a wonderful drone for the price. It is very easy to use with lots of features that more expensive drones have. I’ve been flying this drone for a few months and have captured some incredible footage. This is an upgrade with the RC3 controller, but the same drone I’ve had. The RC3 controller adds a whole new feature and makes an excellent drone even better. It fits easily in a pocket for hiking to capture images while on the go. The camera captures excellent 8k photos and 4k video that can be transferred via SD card. You are able to use flight planning using gps waypoints, follow me, orbiting either you or an object, add filters, and zoom. The 3 axis gimble gives a steady picture to shoot videos. The range of the drone varies depending on height and line of sight to the drone, but gives plenty of distance to record whatever you want. On top of all that you get a wonderful company that stands behind their product and know what customer service really means. I’ve had several contacts with different people from Ruko via email and FB Messenger. They’ve all been friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever they can to make a their customers happy. I highly recommend this drone.

This is my third drone from Ruko, and honestly, they just keep getting better. Every time I upgrade, they pack in more features while somehow making the whole thing even easier to fly. This is a mini sized drone, but very tough, trust me, my first and second drone took a beating from me. It’s so easy to just grab and go without lugging around a heavy case. The camera quality is absolutely insane—it snaps massive 8K pictures and records 4K video at 30fps. The 3-axis brushless gimbal makes a huge difference too, keeping all the footage steady and smooth. One of the biggest additons for me is the controller. The remote having the built-in 5.5 inch screen is huge. The display is gorgeous, and paired with the long-distance image transmission, you always get a crystal clear view of exactly what the drone is seeing without any lag and super easy to transfer ypur videos and pictures. Flight-wise, it’ gets even better. The automated takeoff and landing are incredibly smooth, taking a lot of the stress out of getting it in the air and bringing it back down. Plus, they throw in 2 batteries, which gives me over 60 minutes of total fun before needing to find a charger.

I’ve been flying the U11MINI 4K RC3 for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in several areas. The standout feature for me is the controller. The built in 5.5 inch HD touchscreen is bright, sharp, and very easy to read outdoors. Having an integrated 1920 x 1080 display completely changes the experience compared to using a phone. Everything from telemetry to camera framing is visible at a glance, and the interface feels intuitive rather than cluttered. The touchscreen response is smooth, menus are easy to navigate, and the controller itself feels solid and comfortable during longer flights. Being able to fly phone free is genuinely convenient. Setup was straightforward. GPS satellite lock was acquired quickly and consistently before takeoff. The aircraft felt stable from the first flight, which made it easy to build confidence. In the air, hover stability is excellent. Position hold is very steady with minimal drift. The combination of GPS, barometric altitude sensing, TOF, and optical flow seems to work well together. The drone feels predictable and controlled rather than twitchy. The brushless motors contribute to smooth flight behavior and precise response to inputs. The camera quality has been impressive for a drone in this weight class. The 48MP camera with the 1/2 inch CMOS sensor captures very detailed 8K photos, and 4K video at 30fps looks crisp with natural color reproduction. The 3 axis gimbal stabilization, combined with EIS, keeps footage looking smooth even during movement and directional changes. Flight range has been more than adequate for recreational use. The R2 digital transmission system provides a stable live view without the interference issues commonly associated with Wi Fi based systems. Features like AI takeoff and landing work reliably and are helpful, especially for newer pilots. The automatic return modes and adjustable return point settings add an extra layer of reassurance. The built in beeper is also a thoughtful touch in case your drone ever ends up lost. Battery performance has been consistent with expectations. Having two batteries provides a generous amount of total flight time, which allows for relaxed flying and multiple framing adjustments. Overall, this drone feels very well balanced. It is portable, easy to fly, and delivers strong camera performance. The controller is a major highlight and makes the entire flight experience more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend the U11MINI 4K RC3!

I’ve owned three Ruko drones so far, and I can honestly say the brand has continued to improve with every new release. The U11MINI 4K (RC3) is another solid step forward. Right out of the box, the drone feels more premium and refined compared to some of their earlier models, and the image/video quality is genuinely impressive for the price range. The photos come out sharp, detailed, and vibrant, while the video quality is clean enough to produce really nice cinematic shots when conditions are ideal. The 3-axis gimbal also helps a lot with keeping footage smoother during movement, and the 5.5” screen remote is a convenient addition that makes flying more enjoyable without constantly relying on a phone connection. One thing I appreciate about Ruko is that they seem to listen to feedback and improve their products over time. Each generation feels more polished than the previous one, and this drone definitely shows growth in both features and overall user experience. Setup was straightforward, controls were easy to learn, and the drone is enjoyable to fly whether you’re a beginner or someone with more experience. However, there are still a few areas where improvement is needed. The biggest issue is the drone’s stability while hovering or flying in moderate wind conditions. At times it struggles to stay as steady as it should, and that instability directly impacts the smoothness of the footage and overall image quality. Even with the gimbal helping compensate, you can still notice unwanted movement or shakiness in certain shots. For a drone marketed toward high-quality aerial photography and video, stability is one of the most important factors, so this is definitely something Ruko should continue improving in future updates or releases. Battery life is another area that could be better. The flight time per battery is decent for casual use, but it drains faster than expected when recording a lot of video or flying more aggressively. If you plan on longer sessions, extra batteries are almost a necessity. Overall, though, this is still a very capable drone and one of Ruko’s better releases so far. The camera quality, upgraded features, and overall experience make it worth considering, especially for hobbyists or content creators looking for a more affordable drone option. With improved flight stability and slightly better battery performance, this could easily move from a 4-star product to a 5-star one.

The Ruko U11 Mini is a great beginner-friendly drone and definitely a great bang for your buck. One of my favorite features is the built-in screen on the remote. No phone or extra device needed to fly, which makes setup super simple and convenient. The picture quality is very clear and vibrant for both photos and videos. It’s easy to fly with a smooth learning curve, even for someone newer to drones. The auto return feature is also really helpful. You just hit the button and it comes right back to where it took off from. Flight time is around 30 minutes per battery (comes with 2 batteries!), which is impressive for a drone in this price range. Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and a fun drone for all no matter their drone expertise!

I’ve been testing out this new drone for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my gear kit. The two things that really stand out are the camera performance and how much longer I can actually stay in the air. The Camera: The image quality is stunning. Whether you’re shooting 4K video or high-res photos, the colors are vibrant, and the detail is incredibly sharp. It’s perfect for capturing those cinematic landscape shots. Flight Time: The battery life is a total game-changer. I’m consistently getting around 30 minutes of real-world flight time, which is a huge relief. It gives me so much more creative breathing room to scout a location and frame the perfect shot without constantly worrying about the low-battery alarm. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a reliable drone that delivers professional results without a steep learning curve, this is the one. The combination of the upgraded sensor and the extended airtime makes it a fantastic value. Highly recommended!

This is a great drone. I have several drones this size, but this one is the best. Very steady, even in high winds. The range is unbelievable. Flies well past the range of my other drones. Takes excellent pictures even while moving. I am posting a night time shot of downtown Austin, which I have been trying unsuccessfully, with my others. The built in monitor exceeded my expectations, excellent clarity. I would recommend this drone to beginners and experienced users alike.

My 13-year old son piloted the drone with supervision and authored the review for this great product: The Ruko U11 Mini drone is an incredible option for beginners, and experienced drone lovers. One of the most impressive things about this drone is the unboxing experience. From the time the box opened to the time when it was in the air was 15 minutes. Another stand out feature is the way it handles the wind. I surely thought this little guy would be getting killed, but no. Even strong Oklahoma gusts wouldn’t keep it from flying stable and smooth. The camera quality is professional. You can check it yourself with the attached pictures and videos of downtown OKC and a local country club (Note: Best Buy's program only allowed 10MB images which is about 40% of the original size, and no video - so partially you will have to take our word for it). In a single frame you can see the Omni Hotel where NBA visiting teams stay, the OKC Thunder’s arena, and the construction site of their future home. The video also shows Scissortail Park and the OKC skyline to include the Devon tower. The camera can rotate up and down as well as zoom in to view smaller targets. Not to mention how stable it is with a gimbal. The range is excellent. It can fly up to 390~ feet and over 2000 feet laterally. As it gets farther the footage does start lagging but that is expected with the distance. Occasionally I will lose track of the drone but with the “return to home” button, it can land within 8~ feet of the launching spot. Overall this is a great drone! In just my first day of flying it we got some awesome footage and had a great time. Highly recommend!

The drone is excellent. I like the separate controller. Much better to not have to use a phone. Ruko is making getting into the air easier with each newer version. There are alot of features for the value; return to home, programmable buttons on the transmitter. A very nice compact drone.

After having purchased 3 earlier model ruko drones in the past I have to say that this is my new favorite. The camera takes amazing steady video enen in 10 mph winds. Flight time is around 30 minutes per fully charged battery. I weighed the drone with my sd card installed and it came in at 245 grams which is 5 grams less than the 250 gram requirement to register it. Let me say that the all in one controller is definitely a game changer, no more fumbling with your phone and pairing with the drone each time you want to fly. You just simply turn on the drone and remote and it pairs within seconds. I love the built in touch screen and programmable buttons for ease of flying. Ruko is a great company that has superior customer service and stands behind all of their products. Every time i have contacted them with a question or some troubleshooting they typically respond within 48 hours or sooner and have solved any issues or answered any questions that I had 100 percent of the time. If you want a quality drone from a great company please buy the Ruko U11 Mini 4K (RC3) you will not be disappointed.

Camera quality is best I've seen at this price point AND allows for a ZOOM function while flying. Of course, having a dedicated 5.5-inch screen is super - love not having to mess with a cellphone. Also, start-up seems swiftly and simpler than before. Highly recommended for beginners and advancing pilots. Landing pad is super handy.
